Chapter 15

Xavier POV

As we pulled up to the Midnight Moon packhouse and got out of the car, Lunar was instantly on alert telling me that something wasn't right. I relayed the message to my parents and our Gamma, Peter who had been waiting at the jet for us. I watched as all their eyes glowed momentarily before subsiding, telling me that their wolves were alert and just below the surface. When we walked into the packhouse the air was electric and full of anger. Not just any anger, no there was pure Alpha rage radiating through the house, and not an Omega, or any other wolf in sight which was strange considering that it was only 9pm on a Friday night. Alpha Eduardo came out of a hallway to greet us, with his Luna following close behind.

"Alpha Henry, Luna Anne, Xavier, to what do we owe the pleasure of this surprise visit?" Alpha Eduardo asked cheerily, but his spiked heart rate told me that he was internally panicking at our surprise arrival.
