Isabelle
"I can't eat anymore," I sighed out and let my body fall against Kaden's one, "My stomach is full." I lightly rubbed my hand on my poor stomach and sympathetically glanced at it. A few laughs from Jason and Cassandra along with Carter were heard before Kaden's snicker reached my hearing."You have barely eaten anything, Isabelle and you are already full?" Kaden chuckled kissing my cheek."I have eaten more than I usually do," I spoke a small groan slipping past my lips."Oh really? A slice of Pizza and a small chicken fry is more than you can eat huh?" Carter laughed raising the coke can to his mouth."Way more than I can eat, and the pizza was so big! It was bigger than my face." I exclaimed and this again resulted in everyone bursting into a fit of laughter."Isabelle, it was no way bigger than your face." Cassandra laughed."No, Cassandra. It was," I said, "I can show you." As I attempted to tIsabelleI looked at Kaden who was now peacefully sleeping with his head on my lap and with his body situated on the cushion of the seat of the limo, he had allowed himself to lay on his side in his sleep.Last night was certainly one of the most.....memorable ones I could say. Of course, the touches of his lips still could be felt against my skin. As he had said, he hadn't stopped still the sun went up.I only got probably one of two hours of sleep after and Kaden got none because he and others heeded to prepare to leave early for the home.Kaden had insisted I sleep after we had at inside the limo but I didn't feel as tired as he might have thought so I by myself guided his head to rest on my thighs and just as I had expected he went into deep doze within a few minutes. Apparently, my fingers massaging his scalp helped him sleep even better.I saw Jason winking at Cassandra which caused her to blush and look away, this was whe
Isabelle"Isabelle, wake your mate up. We'll take the things inside," Jason spoke and got out of the limo, followed by Carter and Cassandra. My eyes moved to look at Kaden who was peacefully sleeping with his head on my lap and in his quite strange position that included his arms wrapping around my hips and his head burying into my stomachTo be brutally honest, I didn't want to wake him up.But, I knew we couldn't stay inside the car, and the night was slowly crawling up too and the dwindling sun now getting covered by the thick mass of black clouds was just another sign.I moved my fingers to lightly play with his silky hair locks before I leaned in and whispered, "Wake up, sleepyhead."He didn't move, so I placed my other hand on his back, tracing small circles there over his shirt. This caused a slight movement from him to get noticeable and his hold around me tightened."So you won't wake up, huh?" I softly asked a
KadenI shouted punching at the wall. The blood trailed down my knuckles but I couldn't realize even the tinge bit of pain. The anger inside of me was continuously getting out of my hand. I was constantly getting out of control for the past few hours.Alistair was gone with Isabelle in a puff of air. As if taking my mate in the darkness of the dark smoke that will lead to neverending darkness. The anonymous shield that had stopped me from going inside of the room disappeared with Alistair. I couldn't think straight. He had taken away Isabelle and I didn't have a single idea where.I felt the strong knot forming in the middle of my chest, the remorse increasing rapidly.I had promised her that I would never let anyone take her away from me.....She was taken away right in front of me, that brute took her away and I couldn't do anything. I watched her tears fall unable to wipe them away. I could not save her.
IsabelleThe chains wrapped around my wrists and feet felt burdening, there was no soft mattress underneath me nor the soft caresses I have had gotten used to waking up to. My head was on the floor, not on his chest.I was alone and this was the same darkroom I had escaped a few months ago.I could feel the rapid beating of my heart and the lack of comfort at Kaden's absence. There was also this fear that made a pang cut sharp into my heart.Unlike how they had kept me all the years, this time there was a source of the light. A very small Ventana that was on the very high of the wall. The light crept in indicating that it was the early hours of the morning I had never got seen except for these few days with and those years with my family that now only remained in my mind like a faint memory I'd relish till they'd stay.I couldn't feel my toes, despite the warmth the mere light source had brought into the room there was this soul-shak
KadenA new hope rose within me as Baron's den came into my view, the sun had settled down and gradually the night was crawling up. Even for a Lycan myself, it was harder to notice the surroundings. The darkness of the forest seemed to get increased in this area.I shifted in my human form and slipped on my clothes, others were still a few miles behind as far as I could presume. My Lycan had lost control over the thoughts of Isabelle and I had run off the tracks but my luck still made me reach here faster than expected.Without thinking twice I advanced towards the den with long strides. As I entered the den, I realized that the atmosphere inside was even darker than the forest. It was utterly dark, a pink drop silence prowled around, no source of light could be found.I wanted to speak but all of a sudden voice boomed from inside of the den."Who are you?"The recognition passed through me like a swift wind.Baron.
IsabelleI observed as the dusk approached once again, I could not fathom why there was this sudden feeling inside of me that said that maybe...I was going to be able to see Kaden one last time. Amidst all this chaos and hopelessness, I could feel a small light of hope peek through the thick fog of misery.I sniffled wiping my tears and reclined against the stoned wall, the tears didn't seem to stop since I was brought here. Maybe Kaden's love had really got me thinking that I could escape this pain and anguish that'd been a company for my entire life.Suddenly the door opened. At first, I saw two guards walking inside before Alistair's figure came into my view. He had the same bracelet around his hand--The one I had seen the night when brutally murdered my family. He walked closer and crouched down in front of me, I felt myself trying to back away from the sudden that made his smell waft into my nose. The about his smell did discomfort me, c
KadenThe palace came in my view stirring awake a part of me. The griffin seems to recognize it as well and it let out a screech, spreading his eagle wings wider as it landed on the top of the castle.I hopped down before glancing at the window closer to my reach, it seemed like I had to break through the window to get inside the palace.I looked at the creature who seemed to understand my message and lightly nodded at me before he flew away but not before breaking the window of his own will with the help of my stroke of his strong wings. The glass on the window shattered everywhere, the sound it disturbing the silence but my assumption turned wrong as I saw there were no guards to be found. The loud impact did not catch anyone's attention or maybe this side of the palace was not held with the importance.I slid down on the surface before holding onto the edge of the broken window not exactly caring about glass pieces digging in
KadenThe presence of two people was what could realize whilst my senses were slowly stirring awake. The second thing I could acknowledge was the chains that hook was clipped around my wrists keeping me up whilst two more chains were around my body, from the weight of the chains I could visualize it that the people's whole had put me to this stage were pretty much coward.I forced my eyes open, there was a singing sensation at the back of my head and I could feel the blood sliding down the back of my neck from the wound that the impact caused. My stare followed the chains, they were securely pinned to the walls, the chains that wrapped around my chest and back were tightly clipped with the wall behind my back.It was a cell--From the structure, I could tell it was the one where the most dangerous prisoners were kept. And then I finally spotted the two guards who seemed to notice my awakening.Werewolfs....the smell that radi
