Aurora stared out of the half opened car window, as the sky struggled to finish letting out it's tears.

They had waited in her house until the rain reduced a bit before entering the road.

Aurora wondered how life was going to be for her now as she won't be staying with her family.

She knew deep down that her dad felt really sad when he came back and was told about her staying with Mr Quinn.

He couldn't refuse because he knew that his daughter had always wanted to work in Quinn Enterprises for so long now.

Even though she was discouraged by her friend Raphael, she still sent her application there.

The man knew that someday his daughter would leave them to start her own life as she couldn't live with them forever.

Aurora's brother was more angry than sad. He wanted his big sister to get a job but not to leave the house.

He ran into his room and shut the door telling Aurora to never talk to him again. Aurora pleaded for him to open the door and he concurred after some minutes of pleading.

He made his sister promise so many things that she would do for him when she gets paid and Aurora agreed to all of them just to make her dearest brother happy.

She felt like her parents wanted to tell her something, especially her father but she couldn't tell.

One minute he's about to talk and the next minute he's just silent.

She wanted to ask if anything was wrong but she couldn't as she felt like it was concerning her staying in Damien's house.

Aurora sighed for the upteenth time and Damien couldn't help but wonder if she was alright.

He watched her from the rear mirror bite her lips and fingernails at intervals.  He had noticed that she does that whenever she is lost in thought.

He knew her family didn't want her to go but they had no excuse as to why not.  He wondered how the couple loved the girl this much even though they weren't her real parents.

When her father came back, Damien had tried checking for any trace of white witch in him.

He looked at his eyes but couldn't find any trace of white witch.  He tried perceiving it out from the man but he couldn't find a trace of witch either.

The man was human, he knew that both the couple were humans.

It seemed like she was adopted, probably the couple had waited for their own child for some time and decided to adopt just in case.

Then some years later they gave birth to their own child which was a boy.

Damien couldn't find any other explanation to this matter again, it was just like a theory he gathered up because it wasn't possible for human parents to give birth to a Witcher.

Except there's now a way to turn humans to witches, then why was the girl alone the witch.

He knew she was a witch even before meeting her because of the prophecy centuries ago.

Rhea, the moon goddess had told him that the seal of the other dimension would be broken again and only the first generation of white witches had the power to close it back.

But the first generation of white witches didn't exist anymore as some died during the war and some tapped into the forbidden magic which later got them killed.

She further said that the guardian of the white witches would bring forth special beings that would help in closing up the broken seal, and his mate happened to be among them.

He was sure that she didn't know that they weren't her real parents nor did she know that she was a witch.

But then she must have known that she was different because she would have seen other creatures which humans couldn't see unless she didn't see them.

He wondered if she was a dormant white witch; that is if she was a white witch without powers of any kind.

   He couldn't tell.

They were greeted by Wolves practicing in the pack, Aurora shuddered away in fear. This was the third time today Aurora was seeing wolves.

This time it wasn't just one wolf, they were like fifteen or twenty as she couldn't get the specific number. It seemed like they shifted to their wolf form to practice in case of any attack.

"Don't be scared, they wouldn't do anything to hurt you" Damien said, drawing her closer to him.

Aurora didn't reply as she didn't feel like talking.

Damien instructed a guard Lycan to carry out all of Aurora's things from out of the trunk of the car.

The duo made their way to the last floor and when they finally arrived there, Damien entered the room but Aurora didn't.

Instead she stood outside of the large door of the room.

After some seconds, Damien came out of the room to find Aurora biting on her fingernails, that was a habit.

"Why aren't you coming in, Aurora?" Damien asked. He was worried that she wasn't okay about something, he thought she missed her family but then that wasn't the case.

"Oh I'm waiting for the guard to come with my things and take me to the workers lounge" she said staring at Damien's alluring eyes.

"What workers lounge and what do you want to do there?" Damien asked not knowing what she meant.

"Uhm, I need to arrange my things, have a good rest and prepare for work tomorrow" Aurora said, blinking her extremely long and black lashes quickly, totally oblivious of Damien's plans for her.

Damien chuckled and walked closer to her. He stared down at her as he was taller than her.

He noticed that there was a strand of hair in the way of her eye which made her blink continually then he tucked it behind her ears.

"Who said you were gonna sleep in the workers lounge mouse" he said.

His handsome face formed a grin.

  What?!

What did he just call her?

She didn't look anything like a mouse, at least she doesn't have a tail?!

"I'm not a mouse or have you lost her sight?" she muttered between her teeth.

"Did you say something?" Damien asked, completely aware of what she said.

"Oh nothing. I didn't say anything except that I want to prepare for work tomorrow" Aurora said, giving out a seemingly fake smile.

"So mouse, who said you were sleeping in the workers lounge?. This is where you would sleep, here in this room with your mate" Damien said, caressing her hair and staring down at her lips.

    Sleep in this room!

With him! On the same bed!

No way!

This man would definitely give her a heart attack in this room.

How could she sleep in the same room with a man? This man for that matter! Not happening.

Aurora took a deep breath as she stared back into his red eyes.

" I can't possibly stay in the same room as you Mr Quinn, you are my boss"

"And mate, don't forget to add that" Damien said.

"And what did you just call me, Mr Quinn? You can't be serious! Come on in Aurora don't push it.

And what were you thinking about asking to sleep in another place? You should know that I would never let that happen.

I will never let you out of my sight ever" Damien said and stepped back into the large spacious room.

Aurora couldn't help but obey him, the man sounded so serious.

There was this kind of authority and dominance that oozed out of this man.

It made one never want to ever disobey him, not even for a minute.

Was it because of the Alpha blood in him or that was just how he was?

And what did he mean that he would never let her out of his sight?

Does it mean that he'd literally follow her to wherever she went?

   No, that would be bizarre.

But then this person was a bizarre man who did bizarre things.

Aurora stepped into the room and just as she closed the door, the key twisted and it locked itself.

    What?

How did that happen?

She was sure she didn't touch or turn the key to have it turn itself to lock.

Still wondering about the key, she walked further into the large room taking out time to look around and admire it.

She didn't have the chance to admire the room the last time as she had been so freaked out about seeing a big black wolf.

The large master's bedroom looked so cold like it's owner but was extremely welcoming and comfortable and that had a lot to do with the colors matched and designs as well.

The large oversized headboard at the head of the large bed which had little square boxes in them designed in Ash and black.

Ash and black pillows were placed at the foot of the headboard which matched just fine.

The large bed for 7 was covered with a white bedspread and large Ash duvet which could wrap around her body more than 3 times.

She probably would be lost in the duvet if it were to be thrown at her.

Beside the large bed were 2 large tables which had two cream coloured lamps each on it.

Further away from the bed there were two small white sofas with two white pillows in them which could accommodate just one person for each.

She noticed the large like door bay windows which formed a very cozy sitting area with the two small sofas, while allowing natural light to pass through the bedroom.

The white marble floor which had various small ash floor rugs matched well with the chandeliers that hung now from above the ceiling which shone white and gold.

She looked at  the western part of the room and saw a large fireplace which had two large pots beside it filled with green leaves in it.

The fireplace was enough to have like six people sitting in the front of it without being away from the heat of the fire.

She saw a patio just away from the fireplace, she was sure that one could view the whole of Bartow just standing in front of the large patio.

It had a large glass with black curtains with which one could use in going in and out of the patio.

Just when she thought she had seen all she saw a large shelf that had different books placed in them.

The books were so many and she came to the conclusion that this man was a lover of books.

The room was indeed large and apparently, everything in there was large too.

She shivered a little then she looked up and saw two air conditioners giving out cold breeze.

She looked around the room in awe, she didn't know the man had such good taste.

The designer of the room needed to be given an award because honestly, the room was perfect.

The owner of the room too deserved an accolade, because of how neat and organized he kept it.

Everything was just how it was supposed to be and there wasn't anything out of place.

"Aren't you tired of staring at how wonderful the room is?" She heard and saw Damien staring at her from where he stood.

He had taken off the black tuxedo and was wearing his shirt which he didn't bother to button to the top.

"The designer did a very good job, it's wonderful," Aurora said.

"I know, you can say that over and over again. I'm too wonderful" he grinned while staring at her face.

He had noticed her staring at the room ever since she came in, her eyes darting around like that of an owl.

"I was talking about the designer of the room Mr Damien." She emphasized.

"Oh, I specifically asked for it to be designed this way. Every little detail was all me" He said.

The man was sure boastful, a narcissist CEO.

"Oh okay" she said and lowered her eyes away from him.

"So we all agree that I'm wonderful alright." He said again.

Aurora pressed her lips and looked up to his eyes,

"Are you always like this, Mr Quinn?" She asked.

A loud knock was heard on the door which distracted them for a moment.

Aurora was about to go to the door but stopped when she saw the key twist itself open.

"Come on in," Damien said and sat on the bed.

It was the Lycan guard who was asked to bring Aurora's things.

He entered the room, bowing his head a little towards Damien.

"Oh thank you" Aurora said and he placed the bags on the floor.

"Ask the cook to prepare food for her," Damien said. His eyes moving to Aurora and back to the guard.

The guard nodded in response and left the room quickly.

"How did you do that?" Aurora asked, still in shock of the door opening itself.

It had happened the first time but she was distracted at how warm and organized the room was and now it happened again.

"Do what?" Damien asked, totally aware of what she was talking about but acted oblivious.

He knew she was talking about how the door opened and locked itself as he had seen her staring at it in disbelief and shock. But he wanted her to speak more.

He wanted to hear more of her angelic voice.

"The door, how did it…., How did you make it turn itself open and close" she looked for a way to phrase the question.

"How would I know that, I'm not the door. Am i?" He retorted, grinning.

"But it is your door and room except the door has a mind of its own." She said, staring at his red eyes that stared back at her with grave intensity.

"I would like to believe that it has a mind of its own." he said and laid on the bed.

The man avoided her question without giving her a specific answer. He denied knowing about the door. She was sure he knew about it and he was even the one that did it.

This man was a very strange and unpredictable man.

Aurora thought in her mind without realizing that she had been staring at him for too long.

"Aren't you planning on taking your bath mouse? Except you are planning on staring at my handsome face for some more time which I wouldn't mind either way" Damien said sitting up, his lips raised up in a smile.

This man sure praises himself too much. She had never seen a narcissist as this man before, he sure was too petty.

He was undoubtedly a very handsome man, his features very sharp and daunting. He didn't smile often but when he did, it could make any woman's toe curl.

Aurora pressed both her lips together before opening it and letting air pass through.

"Where do I keep my things?" She asked.

"The wardrobe there, where mine are hanged. It's big enough for additional clothes." Damien said and she nodded.

Her things weren't so much as the man had told her to carry the important things as he would be getting new things for her. She still carried some of her clothes and some other things which she found useful.

As she arranged the clothes in the large wardrobe, Damien kept staring at her. He just couldn't take his eyes off her, he had finally found his mate and he felt like a part of him was returned back to him.

He felt so complete and satisfied, he not only had a white witch for a mate but a beautiful one at that.

She was beautiful with a very calm aura, she had a very petite but curvy body. Her womanly features didn't bother hiding itself as it complimented her body and face.

He watched her carry her towel along with her nightgown into the bathroom and he sighed.

It wasn't a bad kind of sigh but a good and satisfying one, a sigh of relief.

Damien left the room to go to his study room, mindlinking Derrick and Oliver to come with him to the study room.

Aurora entered the bathroom and she couldn't be less surprised at how large and spacious the bathroom was. Considering how the room was, she wasn't expecting anything less from the bathroom either.

She stared at the large bathtub, contemplating whether to use it or not and she decided against it.

She decided to use the shower instead.

After her bath, she stepped out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her head and her night gown which was not  in any way transparent compared to other night gowns.

She had expected Damien to still be at the bed staring at her but she couldn't find him there and she was relieved.

She needed time to breathe and the man didn't give her any as he kept staring at her without taking his eyes off her.

She heard her phone ringing and she walked to the wardrobe and brought it out from the bag where she had kept it.

Aurora stared at the large bed after talking to her family.

They all kept on passing the phone to each other, taking turns to speak to their dear daughter until they wished her good night.

She knew they were extremely worried and they missed her so much because she hasn't stayed out of the house for this long.

It wasn't like they weren't going to see her anymore, it's just that they had built this very strong family bond overtime which would be extremely hard to outgrow.

They were just a regular family with children but they really valued their family moments, the time when they all shared a hearty laugh or when they cried together.

Aurora's thoughts were interrupted by the loud knock on the door.

"Come in" she said, her voice coming out higher than usual.

The door was pushed open and she saw a man who she guessed was the cook.

He pushed something that looked like a trolley because of the large wheels but couldn't be considered a trolley, a food cart.

It has layers in two's, three's till the very top, which was filled with delicacies of different kinds.

Some of which she knew and had seen and some which she hadn't seen in her life.

"Master Damien asked to serve you food, please enjoy" the cook said bowing, not too low but enough to be considered a bow.

"This, isn't this too much for me, alone" Aurora said astonished as to how she was served this much food.

She had never seen so much food placed together for just one person in her life.

"Master Damien asked that you be well fed, as apparently, you are too skinny" the cook said and she rolled her eyes.

That crazy man! What does he mean calling her skinny?

She wasn't skinny!

At Least that's what she thought.

    "Alright, thank you." She said,

She expected the cook to leave but he didn't, standing there like a tree, with a stoic face void of emotions.

Was this man also a werewolf like the rest of them, could he also change to a werewolf? thought Aurora.

What if he changed to a wolf and devoured her, what would happen then.

Aurora felt chills at the thought of that and decided not to think of it anymore.

She stared at the food not knowing how and where to start eating from, especially with the cook in the room.

His head was down but still she wasn't so comfortable.

She started with the fruits, eating up all the apples she felt so full but then she couldn't tell the cook to take the food out as he had taken his precious time in preparing the food.

Soon she finished the first and second row and she couldn't eat anymore, she drank water and gave out a very loud sigh.

"You can take it away, thank you" she said, staring at the cook, his head still down.

"But you aren't done yet, miss" the cook said and she frowned.

Was he expecting her to eat all of it? She wasn't a glutton to eat so much food!.

"But I'm full, I can't eat anymore" she said with a frown still on her face.

"Alright." He said and pushed the food cart out of the room.

"Arrgh," Aurora said, rubbing her tummy.

She felt pregnant as she ate too much. The food was extremely delicious and satisfying, she couldn't lie about that.

Some food which she didn't know of tasted better and she thought about asking the cook to teach her how to cook them.

She planned on cooking the food for her parents and her younger brother, Alan, she knew they would enjoy it.

Aurora stared at the large ceiling, thinking of what to do.

She wondered where Damien went as she didn't meet him in the room after she had her bath.

She stood up and headed to the large shelf, wondering what kind of books were there.

She ran her fingers through the books in the first row of the shelf and randomly picked up a book.

Looking at the front of the book, it read "First generation Werewolves"

"So Werewolves had different generations, hmm interesting" Aurora muttered to herself and turned the book open.

‘The First generation Werewolves, a dangerous and infectious breed.

They had quite a dangerous aura, no! These were raging monsters, never to take the human form again’

    She read out loud.

What does this mean though? Aurora muttered and turned to the next page.

"This generation displays a number of greatly enhanced qualities. As with their rivals, the Vampires, the Werewolves have a very long lifespan"

She wondered why the Vampires and Werewolves were rivals, she hadn't seen Vampires but she had read on how powerful they were.

Aurora thought as she stared at the book, turning the back of the book she saw a neat picture of a black ferocious werewolf.

It seemed like the werewolf was howling as it had it's head and mouth up.

In the same picture stood a full blood moon way above the werewolf and the werewolf howled towards the full blood moon.

The picture looked so beautiful and Aurora couldn't help but stare longer at the picture.

Sitting down in front of the large shelf, she took out another book out of the lower row of the shelf.

"Werewolf ranks and abilities" she read out loud again and she turned the book open without hesitation.

Aurora read the second book out loud with absolute intrigue.

"Werewolves possess enhanced senses of smell, hearing and sight even more superior to that of the wolves, not just humans.

Werewolves are also able to sense Vampires in close proximity to themselves and also possess physical strength, durability, reflexes and speed superior to those of most Vampires."

     Could this be true!

She sincerely thought the Vampires were way more powerful than the Werewolves.

There could be a possibility where she would see a Vampire as she hadn't ever imagined in her life that she would ever see or even live in the same house as Werewolves.

The books intrigued her so much and she kept on reading them learning more about the Werewolves and a little about the Vampires.

Damien walked into the room after his time with Oliver and Derrick in the study room.

They kept on talking about things that needed to be done in order to improve the efficiency of the pack members and recruit new pack warriors.

Their last fight with the Red Moon Pack, a pack made up of rouges cost them a lot of pack warriors as some of them lost their lives.

Stepping into the room, he saw Aurora sleeping on the shelf chair with her head on the table.

He entered the room and the key turned to lock without him touching it.

He walked to where she was and she read the books which laid on the table beside her head.

Picking the books up, he placed it back into their initial position.

Hearing her heartbeat softly made him smile.

He stared down at her stubborn self looking so defenseless as she slept with soft breaths.

Her lips were slightly parted and he couldn't hold himself from caressing her lips, her long lashes fluttered a little as she managed to stay comfortable sitting on the chair.

He carried her and headed towards the bed, he didn't even feel like he even carried her.

He wondered if it was because she was too petite and not weighty or because he was just strong.

He placed her on the and she curled herself up, placing her hands between her thighs as she slept.

He placed the duvet to cover her and she had a satisfied look on her face even as she slept.

Damien came closer to her, he looked at her for some moments before pecking her on her forehead.
