Derek’s POV

“WAKE UP, YOU IDIOT.” I heard someone screaming at me, but my head was groggy. It was as if the last few days hadn’t even happened, like I was waking up from a dream. There was something nagging at the back of my head, but I couldn’t figure out what it was.

“EXPLAIN YOURSELVES NOW.” I hear Mom’s voice finally waking me up, my eyes open, taking in the room. But this wasn’t my room? Where was I? Then the scent hit me. Oh shit.

“Your Highness, your son has come to realise he made a mistake by marking Sophia. He was with me last night repeatedly.” I heard the smirk that must have been on her face. But there was no way I would ever touch Olivia. I hated her. It was only a dream. The realization of what I had done hit me like a ton of bricks.
