Chapter 19

KIMBERLY'S POV

I could feel Dan trying to stand, but it wasn't so easy because he'd have to move me aside carefully and there was no time to do that.

I closed my eyes tight and expected to feel the harsh impact of the bull crushing us with his horns.

But I heard it make a loud noise instead, and I looked up to see a guy. He didn't look like he could be older than we were, he looked a bit younger, and he had taken the bull by the horns, although he seemed to be losing as the bull pushed him slowly to a tree where I knew he'd be crushed slowly to death and as Dan and I stood to our feet, the Bull suddenly charged at the boy, and it all happened so fast.

In a second, the bull was down and groaning in pain and the boy emerged from the other side of the bull covered in blood, and then he grinned at us and made his way over to us.

Once again, Dan moved me to stand behind him as he approached.

“Who are you?” Dan asked the boy.

“Wow… Are you scared of me? I just helped you take down that bull
