“Are you okay?” Elizabeth asked with a strong worried look. “I’m sorry I wasn’t able to help. I had to put my status into consideration, despite my obligation to you.”

“I’m okay,” I said, or so I tried to convince myself. “Please, do not say a word about this to the King.”

“But then this would happen again.” Elizabeth checked me out, doubtful of my response. “We cannot allow this to happen. You are the acting Queen right now.”

“They are the Queen’s parents, that had been removed from her post because of me. I understand.” I swallowed hard. “Please, let this incident be a secret.”

“Then, you shall do something to stop them,” said Ylena, who looked a little irritated. “We will not tell anyone if that’s what you really want, but you have to protect yourself.
