Rain

I opened my eyes slowly this time.

There was no confusion when I woke up - only the dull, lingering pain that reminded me exactly what had happened. My body felt heavy, sore in places I didn’t even know could ache, but at least my mind was clear.

“Careful,” Lydia’s voice came almost immediately, softer than I had ever heard it. “Don’t move too quickly.”

I blinked, my gaze settling on her as she leaned slightly over me, checking the bandages on my face. Malcolm stood a little further back,

  • The Lycan King's Revenge Luna   His type

RainThe moment my brain caught up with what I had seen, shock turned into anger so quickly it made my whole body feel hot.I stopped walking. Then I turned around. For one crazy second, I almost marched straight back to that room, ready to fling the door open and demand what exactly was going on.But demand what? Ryan owed me no explanation. That truth hit hard, and it made me feel foolish.Still, I stood there in the hallway, fists clenched at my sides, my chest rising and falling as I tried to calm down.My mind would not stop racing.Priscilla really came all the way here for that?To sleep with Ryan? The thought annoyed me more than it should have.I started walking back to my room, but even there, my thoughts followed me.I sat on the edge of my bed and hugged a pillow against my stomach, staring at nothing. The more I thought about it, the more bothered I became.Ryan had never once tried to get intimate with me like that. He never looked at me with that kind of hunger.Never p

  • The Lycan King's Revenge Luna   Tangled in his shirt

RainThe whisper was so close to my ear that I felt a breath brush against my skin.“You enjoyed killing them.”My whole body locked up.Every tiny hair on my arms stood on end. My heart started pounding so hard it hurt, like it was trying to break out of my chest. Then I turned around, and screamed.Standing in the corner of the bathroom was a wolf.At least, that was what my mind told me it was.It was huge, dark, and twisted in a way no wolf should ever look. Long black spikes jutted out from its back like sharp bones. Its eyes glowed an eerie blue, and thick drool dripped from its mouth onto the floor in dark strands. Its claws were too long, curved like blades, scraping softly against the stone. It stared at me, but not like an animal. It looked at me like a person, and like something that knew exactly who I was.I stumbled backward so fast my shoulder slammed into the wall. Then I blinked, and it was gone. The corner was empty. Nothing was there except candlelight flickering ove

  • The Lycan King's Revenge Luna   Red Ear

RainBy morning, Aaron’s house felt warmer than it had the night before when we first arrived.Sunlight poured in through tall windows, turning the dark wooden floors gold. Somewhere downstairs, I could smell fresh bread and roasted meat. For a moment, it almost felt normal. Safe, even.Almost.Breakfast was already set when I came downstairs. Ryan and Malcolm were seated at the table, while Aaron stood near the fireplace, pouring tea into a cup like he didn’t have a care in the world. He looked up when I entered. That same strange look flashed across his face. It was so quick that it was gone in a second. But I caught it.I slowed for half a step before walking the rest of the way to the table.Ryan noticed.“You slept okay?”I forced a small smile. “Yeah.”It was a lie.I barely slept at all.Every little sound in that house kept pulling me awake, like footsteps in the hallway, or the floorboards creaking or even a door shutting somewhere in the distance. And every time I opened my

  • The Lycan King's Revenge Luna   A friend in need

RainThe car ride felt… weird. Not scary. Not tense like before a fight. Just awkward.Like when everyone has something to say but no one wants to say it first.Ryan decided he would, so maybe that's what made it more awkward. He was driving, focused on the road while Malcolm sat beside him, arms folded, staring ahead. And me? I was in the back seat, watching the darkness rush past the window and trying not to overthink everything.Which, obviously, I failed at.After a while, I couldn’t take the silence anymore.“I’m sorry.”My voice came out softer than I expected.Ryan didn’t turn, but I saw his eyes flick up in the mirror.“For what?”I hesitated.“For… everything. The training… not telling you - all of it.”There was a short pause, then Ryan smiled. Not his usual small, tight smile. This one was real.“You don’t need to apologize for getting stronger,” he said.I blinked.“I mean it,” he added. “If anything, you made me feel better tonight.”That surprised me.“Better?”“Yeah.”

  • The Lycan King's Revenge Luna   Selfish

RainRyan's eyes moved over me carefully, almost cautiously, like he was trying to solve a puzzle. Then he said quietly, “Who are you?”I blinked. For a moment, I thought he was joking.Malcolm’s arms loosened around me.“What?” I asked.Ryan took a slow step forward. His eyes stayed fixed on me.“Who are you,” he repeated, “and where the hell is the real Rain?”My stomach dropped.Malcolm looked just as confused as I felt.“Ryan,” Malcolm said carefully, “what are you talking about?”Ryan pointed toward the dead men around us.“I watched her fight. You saw it too.”His voice was calm, but there was something hard underneath it.“That was not luck. That was training. Fast thinking. Precision. Brutality when needed. Strong beta level instinct.”Malcolm chuckled, and my lips curled into a smile. He was praising me… he was finally acknowledging my hard work. I was going to thank him when his eyes returned to mine.“Rain cannot fight like that.”What? He's… being serious?I had thought h

  • The Lycan King's Revenge Luna   Who are you?

RainEverything happened so fast, but somehow, in the middle of it, my mind became strangely clear.Maybe it was because I had already been through hell.Maybe it was because fear no longer had the same power over me after being trapped inside my own body, listening, seeing things that were not there, losing pieces of my mind while I screamed silently for help that never came.Or maybe I was simply tired of being helpless. Tired of being hunted, and feeling like life was something happening to me while I stood powerless at its edge.Ever since I woke up, anger had been sitting quietly inside me.The kind of anger that settles deep in your bones and makes you want to hit something until your chest feels lighter. That was why I started training with Malcolm every chance I got since then. I trained when my muscles hurt. I trained when my lungs burned. I trained when my hands blistered. I trained because I needed somewhere to put everything living inside me.Fear, shame, rage and my pain

Ryan The moment the kiss ended, I knew the problem had been solved. Not in the way I expected, perhaps. But solved all the same. Rain stood a few steps away from me, her breathing uneven, her eyes wide with shock. Her fingers hovered near her lips as if she could still feel the imprint of mine t

RainThe next morning came too soon.I had barely slept. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw the dark trees of Nightshade pressing in, heard Ryan’s voice telling me I had no value if I failed, felt the weight of eyes on me.When I finally gave up on sleep, I sat at the edge of the bed, staring at my

  • The Lycan King's Revenge Luna   The Luna's Power

RainBy the time my father finished speaking, my heart was beating so hard I could barely hear anything else.Hannah stood beside him, her chin lifted, her eyes fixed on me with a look I knew too well. Not quite a smile. Not quite pity. Something in between.I knew she was waiting for what I'd say

  • The Lycan King's Revenge Luna   The Luna swap

Rain Morning came too quickly.I barely slept the second night in his room. Not because I was afraid he would touch me this time, but because my mind wouldn’t stop moving. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw the training field again. I heard his voice, sharp and cold. I saw the way he had looked at
