Dom’s POV

Her lips were pale and the green in her eyes looked dim. I gave her a slight nod and swiftly changed directions. I took her further into the trees and sent a mind link to anyone in the area. I ordered them to say clear of the area for the time being. I didn’t want to scare her.

The last thing she needed was to stumble upon a couple of lycan’s out on a hunt. The memory of her horrified face when Hannah shifted in front of her dominated my mind. Once I got to the river, I stoped walking and let her down gently. She didn’t stand, instead, she began to lay down flat on her back.

‘What is she doing?’ Amos asked.

‘My guess is as good as yours.’

She closed her eyes tightly and began to whisper. My ears had to strain to hear her. I watched her curiously as she continued to whisper. Was that the language the witches spoke?

It was beautiful, or maybe it was another was because she was truly fascinating to me.

‘She’s a bit weird don’t you think?’ Amos chimed in.

Anastasia’s POV "They… they hate wolves." I whispered. “Although that might be true, I’m not a wolf.” He looked at me, a muscle twitched in his jaw. "Their hatred is based on fear and ignorance but I intend to dispel both." "You can't just… force them to accept you," I protested, my hands clenching into fists. The idea of having him in my home felt like a violation. It was bad enough being held captive in his castle, but to bring him to the coven? It was unthinkable. Not to mention, my brother would hate this. He walked back in my direction, his towering height standing over me. He moved with a fluid grace that was both captivating and intimidating. His orange eyes locking onto mine, and I immediately softened. "I am not forcing anything, Anastasia," he said, his voice was soothing as he knelt back down in front of me. "I am offering a chance. A chance for peace and understanding. A chance to end the cycle of violence that has plagued our people for generations." His

Anastasia’s POV I was able to eat a bit more today. I smiled brightly at my plate. Of course, if you had a look at it, it would look like it was barely touched, but to me, I could see the small dent I made in it. When I woke up this morning, Dominiko was gone and I was grateful for it. The last thing I needed was for him to still be in my be. My dreams had me in a feral state. The old woman lightly knocked on the door frame. A polite smile painted her face. “My Luna, his majesty wants you to meet him in his office.” My ears perked up at his mention. “Alright then.” I stood from the bed, gently placing my plate on the bedside. I walked into Domeniko’s office and took a seat. He sat behind his desk, the light from the window was catching the unnatural orange of his eyes as he spoke. “Good morning. How did you sleep?” A smile pulled at his lips. My heart dropped and heat gathered in my cheeks. Why is he like this? Oh goddess! Did I make noises? “I slept okay. I stated,

Anastasia’s POV Maybe that was because of how quickly everything seemed to be moving. I sighed as I picked at the large amount of food that remained on my plate. I was full after having only three bites. I wanted to try and eat more, but when I did, I felt like I would throw up. As much as I wanted to eat, my body simply couldn’t hold anymore. I sat it off onto the side table and made my way to the bathroom. It was about time that I showered. I didn’t earlier. I was too disheveled from that kiss that I just couldn’t. Anger grew in my chest at my own body. Warmth began to build between my legs again just at the thought of it. I washed away every unbecoming thought that filled my mind and I was feeling much better after I was dry and clothed. That was until I opened the bathroom door. I stopped in my tracks. My heart thumped in my chest like a loud drum at the sight before me. Dominiko was lying casually on my bed, sporting a pare of sweatpants and a T shirt. Goddess have

Anastasia's POV I pulled on my magic and was about to defend myself when his hand dropped from the wall and he grabbed ahold of both my wrists. Panic filled my chest. He pulled my arms over my head, pinning me to the wall. I moved as far away from the bed as I could. He sat up on the bed. A look of irritation and confusion danced on his face. “Anastasia, hasn’t anyone told you not to get a man going and then stop?” He asked. His eyes cleared and one of the most sexiest smiles broke across his face. My stomach flipped. He rose from the bed swiftly and walked over to me. I took steps backwards and he continued to approach me. I took one more step backwards and hit the wall. He lifted his eyebrow and closed the space between us. “Trying to run away from me, my love?” He asked in a husky voice. He rested his hand casually against the wall, blocking me in so I couldn’t move. I swallowed at his closeness. He was looking down at me with this animalistic hunger and my anxiety s

Dom's POVHe snarled and retreated to the back of my mind. I sat next to her on the bed and gently laid on my back, facing her. She looked so exhausted and adorable as she slept. As much as I wanted to stay like this, I was too aware of the dirt that covered her feet and layered her clothes. She wasn’t a fan of shoes I noticed. Her toes always seemed to be free. They were pretty and tiny. A smile pulled at my lips. Moving a strand from her face, I spoke softly.“My love, you have to wake up.” She groaned softly. Her eyes stayed shut. I rolled over to my side, closer to her and gently ran my hand over her back. She stirred slightly to my touch but didn’t wake up. I watched her for a few more minutes before I tried to wake her again.‘Let me try!’ Amos chimed in.‘You’ll scare her if you try.’ I reminded him.‘Well then let me use your human form a little bit.’ He asked. It wasn’t often that I let him take control of my human form. The last time I did, I had to call Cyrus to bail me ou

Dom’s POV I followed behind her silently. Thankfully, I was able to get the images that Amos placed in my head out, but it was quickly replaced with herscars. And that was a real problem. I couldn’t get the image of her scarred torso out of my head. I was desperate to know who did that to her and the more I thought about it the more Amos’ restlessness affected me. We needed to run. To destroy something. Anything. The desire to ask her about it was eating away at me badly but I knew that if I did, it might make things between us worse. I didn't want to give her anymore reason to want to keep her distance from me.The longer we walked, the slower she moved. We made it through the castle doors, greeted by the staff and she gave a slight respectful nod to all of them. She moved slowly towards the green house. I could tell that she wasn’t in the best of shape. She opened the door and left it open for me to walk through it. Once the door shut, I finally spoke. “How are you feeling now
