The King's words rendered her speechless and once again she was reminded of her true purpose in this world. A mere pet. He bought her as a toy for his sons.
This explains why he didn't buy a submissive pet. Rather a pet like her; who won't submit to these monsters no matter what. So he expected her to annoy his sons and as a result one of them would end up killing her, hence the other would get the throne.
What a freaking brilliant idea!
She started feeling uneasy. Her eyes glided over the interior of the posh expensive car. Maybe this was the last time she'll be sitting in such a beautiful car. Or perhaps maybe this was her last day alive but she would never give up so easily.
Of course, she wasn't sold to a werewolf but rather a freaking Lycan King. She has heard enough of the rumors in the last ten years and the scariest ones were always about the Lycans. They were the most powerful and ruthless beasts of them all.
When the war first broke out, it was easier and still possible to kill werewolves with human weaponry but Lycans heal faster and they are beyond strong.
There were a total of three kingdoms in this world now and these kingdoms were ruled by the Lycans. The most superior of all. The Red Moon kingdom is the strongest among the three and the king of the Red Moon kingdom was apparently sitting in front of her.
That wasn't it. The thing that scares her the most was the rumors she heard about both Princes.
They even put the definition of cruel to shame. They were barbaric and merciless. And the most important fact. They hate humans to the core.
It almost made her laugh at her fate. They would kill her without a second thought.
She has also heard that both the princes were far more stronger and powerful than their father.
Shaking her head lightly she tried not to think about her soon-to-be doom that awaits as shortly as this car came to a halt. Rather she gazed out through the tinted window and the dark inky sky looked beautiful.
She was seeing the sky after almost a decade because the pet Mistress never let her out for a second, and last night she was too occupied while escaping. Most of the time she was kept locked in the dungeons deprived of any air or sunlight.
She wanted to roll down the window and let the cool breeze sweep past her locks but doing as she wanted would only get her killed before the car even stopped.
With a deep sigh, she glanced at the King only to find him already looking at her.
She looked away when he spoke up. "I want you to give my sons a tough time," The King ordered and she had the urge to scoff at him.
Indirectly he was saying and she translates; 'piss my f*ckers off and get killed by one so that I don't have to work hard in order to choose the successor, ta-da!'
She wasn't stupid. Her tongue always has a mind of its own. She not only surprises others with her blunt remarks but it was often a surprise to herself as well.
"Okay," she said rather politely and the King's brow shot up.
Fiona may be fierce and rebellious but she knows when to play smart or that was what she thought.
She noticed as the car passed through the huge magnificent gates into an estate.
The girl stared out of the window with big doe eyes. The huge modern castle stood there looking like it came right out of the fairytale.
But she knew this was no fairy tale.
The car came to a pause as the door swung open. The king stepped out still holding her leash which forced her to step out right after him.
The cool breeze caressed her skin as she noticed two Range Rovers rolled behind the Limousine and all the guards stepped out.
She breathed in deeply. Her heart was pounding wildly and she was scared.
She noticed as a few of the guards dropped a curious glance at her.
A man dressed in a suit hurried to the King. He looked to be in his late 30s, but he was handsome. Come to think of it, even at this age, the King was still very good-looking, which left her to wonder how he would've looked when he was young.
Perhaps she has lost her mind as her death was nearing closer.
"My lord," The man said.
"You could've sent me," He said, throwing a quick glance at Fiona who looked tiny among all these giant men.
"This was an important task Adrian," the King answered calmly.
It felt weird. The king looked too human and he also talked politely to his people and even her. The vicious king she heard about wasn't supposed to be like this and then a flicker of hope blossomed in her heart. What if both the Princes were kind as well and all the rumors were fake? Oh, she wanted to believe it but she knew never to judge a monster just at the first meeting. They show their colors slowly.
"I want to see my sons now," The King ordered to Adrian who bowed lightly before hurrying inside.
"Follow me," The King said while glancing at Fiona, he took long strides into the castle and she followed behind.
The exterior was beautiful but as soon as she stepped inside, her eyes widened. It was captivating, that even walking on the marble floor felt as if she was tainting it.
The King walked down the hall as the number of slaves on the way gave Fiona scared glances which only ended up making her more nervous.
The grand doors opened by the guards as the King walked into the huge hall. Stepping up the stairs he took his throne. She stood in front of him. The coat was too big on her so her hands were hidden in the sleeves as she wring her fingers in anxiety.
So this was the place where she would die. Fancy much. She tried to ease her nerves.
"Stand here," The King looked to his right and she came to stand there.
It was at that moment Fiona noticed the floor of the hall and her heart ceased to beat.
Instead of marble, there were skeletons of humans on the floor and it was made beautifully with marble artwork. It almost looked fascinating but knowing these skeletons were once humans had her stomach knotting up in dread and she felt sick.
She might end up like this on one of the floors of this castle.
Her heart was thumping in her ears as terror gripped her soul.
The huge doors opened and she flinched hearing a low snicker when two men prowled inside.
8 years later. Fiona sat on the edge of the pool with her legs dipped into the cool water. The cool breeze of the night felt soothing on her skin. The dark gray clouds scattered on the sky like a warm bed thunderstruck. The sight was so terrific yet magnificently beautiful in its way. Fiona sighed, rubbing her arms. A head surfaced from the water followed by massive shoulders. Draco peered at her from below. Grabbing her feet he slid them on his shoulder so now his face was between her legs. His wet cold skin caused her to straighten up but her breath hitched when he bit her inner thigh before nibbling and licking on the same spot as she gently combed his wet hair back with her fingers. He slowly moved further near her intimacy as his wet cold lips gave open-mouthed kisses. Fiona tried not to moan as she chewed on her lower lip while watching him. He tucked her panties aside as that warm tongue came in contact with her vertical lips. She moaned lightly while spreading h
Fiona was dragged into the dungeons. She noticed that they had injected something in Finlay and the toddler was now unconscious. Her mind was in panic mode as gazillions of thoughts raced through her mind. Who was this person dragging her? He was too powerful to be a human? The person who was carrying Finn in his arms in front of her was a guard. Was there a mole in the mansion? To Fiona's shock, the guard pressed a brick, and a secret passage opened through the wall as she was dragged in it. How was it possible for someone to drag her like this in the mansion? How do they know about the secret passage? This means the person was from the mansion and knows about everything. She struggled hard and was able to bite that man's hand with all her might making him wince. He jerked his hand back. Fiona screamed for help at the top of her lungs but that person covered her mouth again. "If you don't want the kid to die, then better cooperate," He hissed in her ear, and just like that all
Blake stomped inside the empty guest room before closing the door behind her. To Ezra's surprise, she locked it. He stood there quietly waiting to hear her explanation. Last time he remembered pretty well how things ended between them and he made sure not to come in her way ever again or to follow her. Blake took in a few deep breaths before she turned to face him. Her legs were trembling in anxiety but she tried to maintain her composure. She shifted her weight from one foot to another while fidgeting with her fingers. Ezra decided to speak up first. "It is rude to drag someone from the middle of their conversation," Ezra said calmly. The she-wolf who approached him earlier was asking him out. There was a possibility that Blake might be jealous but then again, she has no feelings for him so she couldn't be jealous. She might be offended why their eyes met. She probably wants him to disappear into thin air. "Who was that girl?" She asked with eyes fixed on the floor and there w
Fiona was on cloud nine. She has been busy with the preparations for the birthday for the last two days. Gena, Kolton, and Ezra were taking shifts to look after Finlay whereas Adrian was busy helping her. Everything was set and she was getting ready. Fiona wore her dress as she tried to close the zipper but she couldn't reach it. She left it open and continued with her makeup. Gena will be here soon. She'll ask her to do it. Draco has taken her to the branded boutique and handed her the card. He waited for her patiently as she bought a dress for herself. She only bought one dress but Draco wasn't having it. He walked down the aisle and chose multiple dresses asking the staff to pack them and deliver them at the mansion. He even took her to the diamond store and bought several necklaces for her along with rings and earrings. Every time he asked the cashier to pack something, she would gape at him asking him not to buy, but he would just smile and wink at her. She warned him tha
"Where are we gwoing?" Finlay asked looking ahead as Draco held him in his arms. "We are going to meet someone," Draco said. Fiona wanted to come along but Draco had to assure her that Finn would be fine. She wasn't ready to stay back but she trusted him and left Finlay in his security. "Swomeone?" He asked as Draco nodded. He stepped into his study where Dexter was already present with his back to them. Draco closed the door behind them as Finlay's eyes were fixed on Dexter's back. Draco felt the toddler stiffening in his arms as he breathed a whisper, "mwonster," Draco heard it and it churns his heart knowing Finlay was calling his father a monster. Dexter slowly turned around facing the child in Draco's arms and something inside him twisted. There was fear dancing in those blue hues as Finlay stared at him. Draco was expecting the kid to cry or say something. Try to escape but Finn did nothing. He watched Dexter quietly. Except for the fear in his eyes, nothing ga
"What?" She was baffled. "He's changed-" Draco started but she cut him off. "Changed? Are you even hearing yourself? He's the same man who was ready to kill Finlay for Clarke, this is the same man who didn't even bat an eye when Clarke ordered her goons to cut Finlay's hand. Do you have any idea how terrified Finlay was?" Fiona said, losing her calm as her wild emerald stared at him in disbelief. How could he even ask her for such a thing? He cupped the sides of her face firmly as he moved down to look into her eyes. "Finlay is important to me as he's important to you. I accepted him before even knowing he was Dexter's son. Do you think I'll put that kid in danger when I know he's my family?" Draco said calmly but she shook her head. Draco held her firmly as he made her sit on the couch and crouched in front of her holding her hands firmly in his big warm ones. "I know it's hard but Dexter is his father," Draco said. "The father who was ready to kill him?" She mocked. "Finlay
