She breathed in deeply as she watched them stride to the King. Fiona didn't miss how the King straightened up.
She wasn't supposed to look at them but she wanted to see the faces of her soon-to-be assassins.
"Father," one of them snickered coldly. His eyes were bloodshot and the way he swayed slightly looked as if he was drunk or perhaps he just came straight out of the bed.
"You called for us?" He asked again, looking bored and annoyed for being there.
He has blond hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. And in no way she would ever consider him to be the Prince if not for him calling the king as a father.
Noticing a piercing gaze on her, subconsciously her eyes fell on the man beside the blond guy.
Her breath hitched when her gaze clashed with the swirling spheres of amber hues. The man looked a lot like the king.
He was a few inches taller than the blond guy. A chill of gripping terror seized her heart as she maintained his fierce gaze. There was a sacred sinister aura in his eyes.
She felt disturbingly intimidated by that man's gaze. There was this immense powerful aura buzzing around him. It almost made her shoulder shrink in submission and fear. Not being able to maintain that menacing gaze, she lowered her eyes.
When she was sure he was facing the King, her eyes roamed over his appearance. He was wearing black slacks, and a crisp white button-down shirt with two of the front buttons open giving an eye-catching view of his sturdy chest. She noticed the hint of a tattoo peeking through. It was obvious as the daylight, he was built through and through as the shirt clung to his defined muscles.
Her eyes trailed up, he had tan skin, a very contrast to the pale blond. He was donning an undercut, the jet-black hair made his smoldering amber eyes stand out. He has sharp features, light stubble that gave him a rugged look, his razor-sharp jawline, and that Adam apple made her heart beat faster.
Why do monsters have to be so handsome? He may be good looking but the terrifying chills she got from his single gaze had her toes curling in dread.
"Father?" The man said calmly and her heart jostled hearing that deep timbre that sent tingles down her spine.
Being handsome was one thing. But his deep voice with that unfamiliar thick accent had shivers running down her body.
She hoped that she didn't have to face this man much in the near future. Because under this sophisticated handsome facade there was something ominous looming behind. It was terrifying.
"I didn't want to disturb you both at this time of the night, but the matter is important." The King said in a dense authoritative tone which startled Fiona because this wasn't his tone with her in the car.
"I bought something for you both," the King said.
Both the vicious men glanced at the leash in their father's hand and then at the girl standing beside him.
"A pet," The King announced and they stared at their father dumbfounded.
"I don't need a pet, father," the black-haired guy said in that deep velvety tone.
Oddly, she wanted to hear him talk more. What was she even thinking? Never in her life had she been attracted to someone's voice like this before.
"It's not just a pet," The King mused.
"What is it then? You know how much we hate humans!" The blond guy said rather coldly, glaring at his father.
"This girl here is a trial for you both," The King proclaimed.
"Let's drop the riddles, father." The Black haired guy said in a low tone as if he was threatening his father, his sharp eyes held a calm savagery in them.
"Draco, my son." The King gushed with the proudest smile while looking at the black-haired guy.
"If you kill this woman here, you'll lose the throne." The King dropped the news on them.
Draco clenched his jaw and she swore she saw his eyes burning in rage but it was gone as soon as it came as he schooled his expression. He seemed to get it quicker than the blond guy.
If the King would be kind enough to let her choose between his sons as her killer, she would choose the blond guy without a second thought.
"What?" The other guy snarled.
"What the f*ck you mean, father?" The blond gritted.
"Dexter," The king said calmly.
"This girl is your pet. She'll serve both of you. And whoever ends up killing her first would lose the throne," The King said sternly as he let her leash go and faced her.
"Go to them," The King said looking at Fiona as she stiffened feeling three sets of intimidating eyes fixed on her.
She wanted to move. She wanted to oblige but it wasn't in her. She was never like this. Being able to breathe in the presence of three Lycans was soul-draining enough.
She didn't move. The girl stood in her place like a stoic robot.
"What the f*ck are you waiting for, bitch? Come here!" Dexter growled.
Fiona inhaled deeply before she walked up to him and stood at a little distance which caused Dexter to step closer to her. He looked her up and down before scoffing as he flipped her hair. Noticing a piercing gaze on her she looked to her right to find Draco scrutinizing her.
Then all of a sudden Dexter grabbed a fist full of her hair and yanked her closer. Panic kicked in and in her fight-and-flight mode she abruptly tried to hit him where the sun didn't shine but he caught her knee with his hand and his eyes widened.
"You bitch!" He snarled.
Her heart dropped into the depth of darkness.
"Ah, I forgot to tell you. She's a bit feisty." The King mused and the very next second she felt a sharp sting on her cheek and her head jerked to the side with such force that she fell because of the impact and her head throbbed.
She lost her hearing for a few seconds as her ears rang. She blinked a couple of times shaking her head as slowly her senses came back. Tears burned the back of her eyes as pain shot through her face but she bore it. Still, she couldn’t control the innocent quivering of her chin.
Fiona looked up to find Dexter ready to backhand her again when the King's voice stopped him.
"Stop. At this rate, you'll hand the throne to your brother," King said sternly and Dexter paused.
Turning around to glance at his father and his brother in annoyance he glared back at the girl before walking out of the hall in rage.
Fiona could feel the blood in her mouth. Patrick has hit her millions of times but his slap couldn't compare a tiny bit to this lycan's power. They could simply kill her with merely two to three slaps.
Draco walked over to her and she stiffened looking up at him.
Her emerald eyes clashed with his dark amber pools.
8 years later. Fiona sat on the edge of the pool with her legs dipped into the cool water. The cool breeze of the night felt soothing on her skin. The dark gray clouds scattered on the sky like a warm bed thunderstruck. The sight was so terrific yet magnificently beautiful in its way. Fiona sighed, rubbing her arms. A head surfaced from the water followed by massive shoulders. Draco peered at her from below. Grabbing her feet he slid them on his shoulder so now his face was between her legs. His wet cold skin caused her to straighten up but her breath hitched when he bit her inner thigh before nibbling and licking on the same spot as she gently combed his wet hair back with her fingers. He slowly moved further near her intimacy as his wet cold lips gave open-mouthed kisses. Fiona tried not to moan as she chewed on her lower lip while watching him. He tucked her panties aside as that warm tongue came in contact with her vertical lips. She moaned lightly while spreading h
Fiona was dragged into the dungeons. She noticed that they had injected something in Finlay and the toddler was now unconscious. Her mind was in panic mode as gazillions of thoughts raced through her mind. Who was this person dragging her? He was too powerful to be a human? The person who was carrying Finn in his arms in front of her was a guard. Was there a mole in the mansion? To Fiona's shock, the guard pressed a brick, and a secret passage opened through the wall as she was dragged in it. How was it possible for someone to drag her like this in the mansion? How do they know about the secret passage? This means the person was from the mansion and knows about everything. She struggled hard and was able to bite that man's hand with all her might making him wince. He jerked his hand back. Fiona screamed for help at the top of her lungs but that person covered her mouth again. "If you don't want the kid to die, then better cooperate," He hissed in her ear, and just like that all
Blake stomped inside the empty guest room before closing the door behind her. To Ezra's surprise, she locked it. He stood there quietly waiting to hear her explanation. Last time he remembered pretty well how things ended between them and he made sure not to come in her way ever again or to follow her. Blake took in a few deep breaths before she turned to face him. Her legs were trembling in anxiety but she tried to maintain her composure. She shifted her weight from one foot to another while fidgeting with her fingers. Ezra decided to speak up first. "It is rude to drag someone from the middle of their conversation," Ezra said calmly. The she-wolf who approached him earlier was asking him out. There was a possibility that Blake might be jealous but then again, she has no feelings for him so she couldn't be jealous. She might be offended why their eyes met. She probably wants him to disappear into thin air. "Who was that girl?" She asked with eyes fixed on the floor and there w
Fiona was on cloud nine. She has been busy with the preparations for the birthday for the last two days. Gena, Kolton, and Ezra were taking shifts to look after Finlay whereas Adrian was busy helping her. Everything was set and she was getting ready. Fiona wore her dress as she tried to close the zipper but she couldn't reach it. She left it open and continued with her makeup. Gena will be here soon. She'll ask her to do it. Draco has taken her to the branded boutique and handed her the card. He waited for her patiently as she bought a dress for herself. She only bought one dress but Draco wasn't having it. He walked down the aisle and chose multiple dresses asking the staff to pack them and deliver them at the mansion. He even took her to the diamond store and bought several necklaces for her along with rings and earrings. Every time he asked the cashier to pack something, she would gape at him asking him not to buy, but he would just smile and wink at her. She warned him tha
"Where are we gwoing?" Finlay asked looking ahead as Draco held him in his arms. "We are going to meet someone," Draco said. Fiona wanted to come along but Draco had to assure her that Finn would be fine. She wasn't ready to stay back but she trusted him and left Finlay in his security. "Swomeone?" He asked as Draco nodded. He stepped into his study where Dexter was already present with his back to them. Draco closed the door behind them as Finlay's eyes were fixed on Dexter's back. Draco felt the toddler stiffening in his arms as he breathed a whisper, "mwonster," Draco heard it and it churns his heart knowing Finlay was calling his father a monster. Dexter slowly turned around facing the child in Draco's arms and something inside him twisted. There was fear dancing in those blue hues as Finlay stared at him. Draco was expecting the kid to cry or say something. Try to escape but Finn did nothing. He watched Dexter quietly. Except for the fear in his eyes, nothing ga
"What?" She was baffled. "He's changed-" Draco started but she cut him off. "Changed? Are you even hearing yourself? He's the same man who was ready to kill Finlay for Clarke, this is the same man who didn't even bat an eye when Clarke ordered her goons to cut Finlay's hand. Do you have any idea how terrified Finlay was?" Fiona said, losing her calm as her wild emerald stared at him in disbelief. How could he even ask her for such a thing? He cupped the sides of her face firmly as he moved down to look into her eyes. "Finlay is important to me as he's important to you. I accepted him before even knowing he was Dexter's son. Do you think I'll put that kid in danger when I know he's my family?" Draco said calmly but she shook her head. Draco held her firmly as he made her sit on the couch and crouched in front of her holding her hands firmly in his big warm ones. "I know it's hard but Dexter is his father," Draco said. "The father who was ready to kill him?" She mocked. "Finlay
She felt hot feverish kisses on her neck as he pulled her out of her slumber. Fiona blinked slowly as the faint hues of orange filled the room through the curtains. Her brows scrunched, feeling a hand on her bosom. Her eyes flew open wide and she looked down to notice that he was nibbling the skin of her neck while his hand slid into her shirt fondling her breast. She groaned when he bit her tender flesh and sucked on it. She pushed at his chest causing him to pull back. His ruffled black hair was the first thing she saw before he tilted his head up staring at her with those deep ambers. "Good morning," He beamed, shining like a star as her eyes scrunched. "Morning," She said grumpily. He sure was a morning person. Once done with the greeting he began kissing her jaw forcing her to pull back as she pushed his hand out of her shirt. "Stop," She said sternly, giving him a warning glare. She tried to sit up but groaned as her whole body ached. Draco sat up immediately as he wat
She could barely think straight. Draco pulled back as they both panted. He grabbed the zipper of her dress before pulling it down as she held her breath. They were close, chest to chest. Her hot breath mingled with his as she clutched his bicep tightly. The zipper reached down the small of her back. Draco pulled his hand up slowly dragging his cold fingers up her spine causing her to arch into him. He pulled back as their gaze clashed. The immense shyness was urging her to lower her gaze but she didn't. She wanted to see the hunger and passion in his eyes. Those amber eyes that only burn for her. Nothing in this world could ever make her feel so desired and lovable as much as those amber hues that set her soul on fire. He grabbed the hem of her dress before sliding it off her right shoulder, he did the same with her left shoulder, and within seconds the dress pooled around her feet. Draco took two steps back. His dark eyes glided over her delicate frame. The carnal lust in thos
"I'm leaving," Dexter said, pulling back as he rubbed a hand down his face to control his emotions. "I'll be going to the ... Kingdom," Dexter said, taking Draco by surprise. "You don't have to-""I want to, I don't want to stay here for a while, taking responsibility for... the Kingdom would be distracting enough and we need someone responsible for this task," Dexter said in a mature tone which was surprising. "Do you think you'll be alright?" Draco queried. "I'll be fine but before leaving I need your favor," Dexter said. "What is it?" Draco asked and with a deep breath Dexter asked him a favor. *"Here eat this, this one is delicious," Fiona said, offering a delicious cupcake to Finn. She has taken a bite of it as the toddler also took a bite. His eyes lit up as he clapped his hand making an excited face. "Dwilicious," He said joyously and she beamed at him. "More," He said and she removed his suit jacket, folding his sleeves up to his elbows like Draco. She also unbuttons t
