Chapter 42: Let me save you

The rhythmic thrum of helicopter blades went through the forested valley like an omen. The soldiers below scattered back, their faces upturned as the monstrous shadow descended. The downdraft whipped dust into choking clouds, bending trees, sending broken leaves spiraling.

Through the storm, Elias half shielded Nadai with his battered arms. His ribs ached. His blood was still drying on his shirt. He had no more strength left, only the stubbornness to keep standing. Nadai clung to him, her delicate frame shaking but her chin raised like a wolf’s pup refusing to bow.

The helicopter door slid open, and out stepped Kael.

He was impossible to mistake — tall, broad shouldered, his ceremonial armor glittering in the golden dusk. The emerald sash across his chest and the black wolf crest emblazoned on his breastplate screamed of the royal wedding that had been hours away. But now, he looked nothing like a groom. He looked like a war god.

His Lycan aura hit the gro

  • The Lycan Prince’s Secret Obsession    After the sleep

Chapter 59: After the sleepThe chamber reeked of herbs and smoke. The steady crackle of a brazier filled the silence while healers moved in hushed urgency. The great bed, draped in crimson and gold, bore the still form of Kael. His chest rose and fell, faint but steady, as though he were caught between life and death.Elias had not moved from his side. His hands trembled against the blankets, clutching the prince's wrist as though afraid the heartbeat might fade if he let go. His eyes, red and swollen, flicked toward every healer that dared step too close.Queen Serena stood on the other side of the bed, regal even in her distress. Her crown had been set aside, her long black hair falling down her shoulders as she clutched the bedpost for strength. The entire palace had been holding its breath for Kael to wake and now, after days, the faint flutter of his eyelids set the chamber aflame with anticipation.“Kael,” Elias whispered, leaning close. “It’s me… I’m here. Please…”Kael’s lash

  • The Lycan Prince’s Secret Obsession    Plotting

Chapter 58: Plotting The long dining hall of the Royal Palace was lit with hundreds of golden sconces, each flame flickering in rhythm with the shadows of night that pressed against the tall arched windows. The vast oak table stretched almost endlessly, a banquet of roasted meats, honey glazed breads, steaming soups, and fine wines displayed as though the entire kingdom were invited. Yet only two men sat across from each other, King Mathias, sovereign of the Lycans, and Elias—the trembling, uncertain mate Kael had left behind.Elias sat stiffly on the high backed chair, his hands clutching the edges of the table as though the carved wood could anchor him against the tide of fear rising in his chest. He had been summoned with no explanation, no choice. The guards had escorted him through stone corridors, past the tapestries of battles long won, until at last he was seated here before the most dangerous man in the kingdom.King Mathias was silent. His broad shoulders cast shadows agai

  • The Lycan Prince’s Secret Obsession    True test of time

Chapter 57: True test of time Nadai’s palms pounded frantically against the solid door. Her breath came in ragged gasps, chest heaving as if her lungs were aflame. “Delia! Open it! Open this door right now!” she cried, the sharp edge of desperation slicing through her voice. The silence stretched long enough for her panic to deepen. Then, a slow, deliberate creak echoed as the lock turned. The door opened just wide enough for Delia’s face to appear, her lips curved in a mocking smile.“You didn’t have to scream so loud,” Delia said, her tone smooth, amused even. “The whole palace will think I’m murdering you in here.”Nadai shoved past her without another word, stumbling into the dimly lit corridor. Her heart still pounded from the heat of their confrontation, from the closeness, from the touch she hadn’t expected and still couldn’t shake. She pressed her back against the cold wall, steadying herself, trying to calm the whirlpool of confusion inside her. Her fingers trembled. She had

  • The Lycan Prince’s Secret Obsession    The Heat Of Alliance

Chapter 56: The Heat of AllianceThe bath chamber was still humming with the soft echoes of splashing water and the faint fragrance of rose oil the maids had left behind. Steam clung to the walls, heavy and damp, turning the room into a cocoon of heat and silence. Delia’s fingers, cool and deliberate, lingered on Nadai’s breast for a breath longer than necessary.Nadai froze, her throat tightening. The steam fogged her lashes, blurring Delia’s figure into a shimmering outline of naked curves and unapologetic power. Delia stood closer now, her eyes dark pools, unreadable, unashamed.“Why are you stiffening like a child?” Delia whispered, her voice low, husky, carrying both mockery and allure.“I...” Nadai’s voice cracked, and she coughed to cover it. “This… this isn’t why I came.”Delia smiled, slow and predatory. Droplets of water slid down her collarbone, trailing between the valley of her breasts before clinging to her skin like tiny jewels. “Oh, but it is,” she murmured. “You came

  • The Lycan Prince’s Secret Obsession    Take a deep breath

Chapter 55: Take a deep breath The bath chamber smelled of roses, steam, and something faintly metallic. The kind of metallic tang only a Lycan could detect. Delia sat inside the marble tub, her lithe body submerged beneath water shimmering with petals and oils. Two maids knelt on either side of the tub, sponging down her arms and back while whispering gossip that died whenever Delia’s sharp golden eyes flicked their way.The water clung to her, rippling each time she shifted, her skin gleaming like polished ivory under the lantern glow. She tilted her head back, allowing one maid to pour warm water over her hair, cascading down her neck in silky strands. Then the heavy door creaked open.Nadai entered. She did not bow. She did not curtsy. She looked around then took a deep breath. Delia’s eyes narrowed, though a smirk played at her lips. She lifted her hand lazily, signaling the maids. “Leave us.”The girls bowed, scurrying out quickly, their slippers whispering across the stone f

  • The Lycan Prince’s Secret Obsession    Surrender

Chapter 54: Surrender The air in the kingdom was thick with smoke and the stench of destruction. Buildings had collapsed, fires spread, and the screams of villagers mixed with the roars of warriors. Kael was no longer himself, he was a storm wrapped in flesh, bloodied and burning, but fighting as though possessed by the very spirit of chaos. Nothing and no one could stop him. From afar, Nadai’s eyes filled with tears as she watched him cut down soldier after soldier, knights and shapeshifters alike retreating in terror. She clenched her fists, heart breaking. He’s going to kill himself. He’s going to burn everything.Beside her, Elias stood rooted, pale and trembling. His own words of rejection echoed in his mind—words he had flung at Kael only moments ago. No. I cannot marry you.Nadai turned on him, her sobs shaking her chest. “Do something! Stop him, Elias!”Elias’s throat worked, but he whispered, “There’s nothing I can do. He… he won’t listen to me now.”Nadai’s grief twisted i
