The deltas completed the healing of my body and when I finally gained my strength, my family was already with me.

My father was the first to pull me into a warm embrace. "I am so proud of you, my dear," he told me.

Logan joined the hug, unable to hide his joy. "You were so amazing," he gushed.

"Thank you," I murmured through the fatigue. All I wanted to do was rest after a long, tiring, and eventful day.

They pulled away, leaving Lance and Jules standing both staring at me. Jules' expression was an open one, she rushed over to me and took my hand. "You were truly the warrior you were born to be," She praised. Her words should have filled me with nothing but gladness, but I could not shake off the suspicion that took hold of me. She had been the only one that I had told of what I had done and now, for whatever reason, Aurora had been privy to it as well. Had Jules told Aurora the secret?
