**Raphael**

"I... I am sorry to intrude, but..." She rubbed her eyes. "I wanted to ask for a glass of water."

We looked between each other, communicating silently.

Lance was the first to react, moving toward Lucianne. "Of course," he said. "Follow me." He walked past Lucianne, expecting her to follow him, but Lucianne's eyes found me, and for a moment, we held eye contact.

She opened her mouth slightly, as if she wanted to say something to me, but then she thought better of it and her eyes trailed to the red letter.

With that, she bowed and left the room, following her brother.

The room let out a collective breath as their footsteps faded completely.

We had to be more careful, I thought as the room shared nervous glances.

**Lucianne**

I entered the room, the man named Lance entering after me with a glass of water. I sat back in bed, still confused as to why he didn’t let me go on my own and insisted on accompanying me back.

He handed me the glass of water. "Here."

"Thank you," I s

Lucianne~Lance clung to me as if I were a lifeline, his body trembling with the force of his suppressed grief finally being unleashed. I could feel the depth of his sorrow, the years of regret and guilt that he had kept bottled up. It was overwhelming, and I could only hold him tighter, offering what little comfort I could."It's okay," I whispered, my voice soothing as I gently held him as I would a brother. "Let it out, Lance. It's okay to grieve."He stiffened for a second before he let go again."I'm sorry," he whispered back. "I am so sorry."***He left me alone soon after, and I lay down, letting everything replay in my head. Then I froze, sitting up in a swift motion."Who is Lance?" I asked myself. And why had I called the stranger Lance?---Raphael~"I think she might be remembering," Lance said so soon as he was let into my chamber. It was the next morning after Lucianne had walked in on all of us speaking. My eyes stung from the night I had. I should have been relieved

Lucianne~His face fell as mine did. "It's a shame. I always thought we would meet again.""I'm sorry," I said quietly. He shook his head. "I hope he had a good life."I smiled. "He did. He was full of zest.""And wild ideas." He took the words out of my mouth. "He had a fire in him that couldn’t be tamed," Luc added, his voice filled with fondness and a hint of melancholy. "We used to dream big, your father and I, always talking about the things we would do, the places we would see. It’s strange how life turns out sometimes."I nodded, feeling a deep connection to this man I had just met. It was as if he had opened a small window into my father’s past, showing me a side of him I never knew but desperately wanted to understand. But other than that, he made me feel at ease. Maybe it was his aura or the softness in his eyes when he looked at me. Almost like he was not seeing me as a stranger, but as someone he cared for.Luc studied me for a moment, his gaze thoughtful. "You remind me o

LucianneI squared my shoulders, a grin tugging at my lips as I approached the bar. I wasn’t here to prove anything—not to Raphael, not to Jameson, and certainly not to myself. I just wanted to have some fun, maybe even show off a little. After all, how often did I get a chance to break the rules? Definitely not in the Silverfang pack.I pulled myself up onto the bar with ease, swinging up and over like I’d done it a million times. The thrill of it made me laugh, a light, carefree sound that echoed through the empty space. This was fun—pure, unfiltered pleasure. The dark thoughts of that night fled from me.Raphael stood back, his arms crossed, watching me with an amused smile. “You look like you’re enjoying yourself,” he remarked, his tone teasing.“Oh, I am,” I shot back, flashing him a grin as I tried a more complicated maneuver. “It’s not every day I get to play around without someone telling me I shouldn’t.” I had always wanted to at least hold a weapon, but my father had always

Lucianne~"That's deplorable," Alpha said, his tone a harsh whisper.I never thought his reaction would be so intense. I felt something I'd much rather leave unexplored and unexamined flutter in my chest. I managed to shrug, trying to seem unbothered by the fact that Jameson had disallowed me from stepping into the arena. Not even as a spectator, much less a fighter."Dear, omegas are not meant to be there," my future mother-in-law had said, consoling me. "It's against tradition."I understood, but I could not lie and say it didn't hurt, because it did. The sound of the spectators' cheers would echo throughout the castle. There was almost always a vibration that I could feel in my feet."Omegas are not any less," Raphael said softly, moving forward towards me. I looked up at him, and I knew I should move away. But there was a pull toward him that made me stay in place, especially with the way his crimson eyes seemed to look into my soul."You need not feel any less," he whispered, com

Raphael~She was looking into space, a line between her brows, and agitation was evident by her demeanor."Rielle?" I called. She did not answer me the first time, still lost in thought."Rielle?" I called again.I pulled her out of her reverie and she blinked before turning to meet my gaze. She bowed her head slightly. "Alpha," she greeted. She had not even noticed when I entered. That was a bad sign."Anything the matter?" I asked. "You seem perplexed."She said nothing at first and simply looked at me, gauging something that I could not understand. She looked at me like a confusing puzzle that she was trying desperately to solve."Yes, something is the matter," she affirmed.I tried not to show my surprise and apprehension. She was not the type to reveal anything that was bothering her, so if she was willing to be truthful, it meant that it was serious."What is it?" I asked, keeping my voice level and neutral."It's about...well... everything," she finally revealed, her expression
