Chapter 178 How are you feeling

Xavier's POV:

As the days stretched on, the search parties scoured the forests and neighboring territories tirelessly.

We followed every lead and pursued every possible clue, but Uriah seemed to have vanished from the face of the earth.

Then, one day, as I was contemplating our next move in the study, I received a message that Anya wanted to see me again.

This time, I rushed to her room with a mix of hope and anxiety.

Upon entering, I saw her lying on the bed, her face still pale and her eyes red from crying. I approached her cautiously, unsure of what to expect.

"Anya," I said gently, "how are you feeling?"

She looked up at me, her expression filled with sorrow and regret. Tears welled up in her eyes, and she began to apologize profusely.

"Alpha Xavier, I'm so sorry. I betrayed your trust, and I couldn't protect Uriah," Anya begged.
