Three ~ Aria New role

Aria woke up the next morning to the sound of birds chirping outside her window. She rubbed her eyes and sat up, feeling a wave of sadness wash over her as she remembered her sister's elopement. But she knew she had to be strong and try to adjust to her new role as the Lycan Queen.

She got dressed and made her way to the dining hall, where Dax was already waiting for her. He greeted her with a warm smile and they sat down to have breakfast together. She couldn't help but feel a little awkward around him, knowing that she was only his substitute mate.

As they ate, Dax explained to her the responsibilities that came with being the Lycan Queen. Aria listened carefully, feeling overwhelmed by the amount of work that needed to be done. She had always been an ordinary wolf in the pack, never having to worry about the politics and duties that came with being a leader.

But as Dax spoke, Aria realized that she had a lot to learn and was determined to do her best. She asked him questions, took notes, and tried to absorb as much information as she could.

Over the next few days, Aria spent most of her time learning about the pack's affairs and attending meetings with Dax. She found it difficult to adjust to her new role and the attention that came with it. She missed her old life as an ordinary wolf, but she knew she couldn't turn back now.

As the days turned into weeks, Aria began to find her footing. She started to understand the dynamics of the pack and the responsibilities that came with being the Lycan Queen. She also started to feel more comfortable around Dax, despite the awkwardness of their situation.

They worked together to make important decisions for the pack, and Aria started to realize that she had a voice that was valued by Dax and the others. She found herself enjoying the sense of purpose that came with her new role.

However, the thought of her sister still weighed heavily on her mind. She couldn't help but wonder where Blaire and Damien were and if they were safe. Aria prayed to the Moon goddess every night, asking for their safety and hoping that they would one day return to the pack.

Despite the challenges that came with her new role, Aria was determined to do her best as the Lycan Queen. She knew that she had big shoes to fill, but with Dax's guidance and support, she was confident that she could handle anything that came her way.

Aria decided to take a walk to clear her head and get some fresh air. She strolled down to the pack kitchen to grab a snack, and as she walked in, she noticed something that made her heart sink.

Miranda, the leader of the Omegas, was yelling at and physically hurting some of the Omegas who were working in the kitchen. She felt a wave of anger and sadness wash over her. She knew that the Omegas were the lowest members of the pack and often treated poorly, but she never thought that Miranda would be one of the people hurting them.

Aria immediately stepped in and confronted Miranda.

"What are you doing?" she demanded, her voice laced with anger.

Miranda turned around and glared at Aria. "Mind your own business, Queen. This is pack business, and you have no right to interfere."She fires angrily at her ,they were never in a good term ,even before she became the queen. They do , normally fight or argue on a normal day

Aria didn't back down.

"These are members of our pack, and they deserve to be treated with respect. You have no right to hurt them."She fires back and Miranda who ended up sneering at her

"You may be the Queen, but you don't know how things work around here. The Omegas are at the bottom of the pack, and they need to be put in their place."She responded back with anger as Aria shook her head in disgust.

"No one deserves to be treated like this. I won't stand for it."She sated ,she slowly

raised an eyebrow.

"And what are you going to do about it?"she asked ,daring Aria with her look.

"I'm going to speak to King Dax about this.''She said as she took a deep breath, steeling herself.

"Good luck with that. He doesn't care about Omegas. All he cares about is his precious pack and his duty as their king."Mirand scoffed, she made a mockery of her .

Aria refused to be deterred. She knew she had to do something to help the Omegas, and if Dax wasn't going to listen, then she would find another way.

As she walked away from Miranda, she spotted a familiar face among the Omegas. It was Sarah, an Omega she had befriended before she became the queen. Aria knew that Sarah had been mistreated by Miranda in the past, and she wondered how many other Omegas were suffering in silence.

She approached Sarah and pulled her into a quiet corner.

"Are you okay?" Aria asked, concern etched on her face.

Sarah looked up at her with tears in her eyes.

"No, I'm not okay," she whispered.

"None of us are. Miranda has been treating us like dirt ever since she became the Omega leader."she added , fighting back her tears .

Aria felt a surge of anger at Miranda's callousness.

"I won't let her get away with this," she promised Sarah.

"I'll find a way to make things right."She added.

Sarah looked up at her with a glimmer of hope in her eyes.

"Thank you, Aria. It means a lot to us."she said ,a beat more Relieved.

Aria knew that it wouldn't be easy to stand up to Miranda and change the way things were done in the pack, but she was determined to do it. She had a newfound purpose, and she would fight for the rights of the Omegas with everything she had.

She took Sarah to her room, which was located in the same wing as the king . The room was small but cozy, with a comfortable bed, a dresser, and a window that overlooked the garden. She gave Sarah some food to eat and a new dress to put on.

As Sarah ate, Aria asked her about her life in the pack. Sarah told her about the harsh treatment they received from Miranda, and how the omegas were often subjected to abuse and neglect. She was horrified by what she heard and promised to do something about it.

After Sarah finished eating, she showed her how to use the shower and gave her some clean towels. She then helped her into the new dress she had brought and brushed her hair.

As they walked back to the kitchen, Aria couldn't help but feel a sense of responsibility towards the omegas in the pack. She knew that as the Lycan Queen, she had the power to make changes and improve their lives. She made a mental note to talk to Dax about it later that day.

When they arrived in the kitchen, Sarah was surprised to see that the atmosphere had changed. Miranda was no longer shouting and the omegas were quietly going about their tasks. Aria realized that her presence alone had made a difference.

She smiled at Sarah and said,

"Things will get better, I promise."Sarah felt a great happiness within her .

Soon Enough,Aria turned to leave, she heard Miranda's voice rang out behind her. "Don't think you've won, Queen. I'll be watching you closely," she spat before stalking off, leaving Aria to shake her head in disbelief.

Once inside her room, Aria leaned against the door and let out a deep sigh. She knew she couldn't let Miranda's words get to her, but she couldn't help feeling uneasy about the situation.

As she sat down at her vanity, she caught her own reflection in the mirror and couldn't help but feel a sense of disconnection. She had always been an Ordinary wolf , never expecting to be anything more, and now she was the queen of the pack with all the responsibilities that came with it.

A knock at the door brought her out of her thoughts. It was one of the servants bringing a message from the king. Aria read the message, which simply said, "Meet me in my study," she headed down the hallway towards his study.

When she arrived, Dax was already there, his face serious.

"I received a report from Miranda about your encounter in the kitchen," he said, his tone indicating his displeasure.

Aria sighed, knowing that Miranda had followed through on her threat.

"I'm sorry, Dax. I couldn't just stand by and watch her hurt those omegas," she explained.

Dax's expression softened slightly.

"I understand that, Aria. But as queen, you have to be careful about how you handle these situations. We don't want to cause more unrest in the pack," he cautioned.

Aria nodded, realizing the weight of her new position.

"I'll be more careful in the future," she promised.

Dax smiled reassuringly.

"I have faith in you, Aria. You'll make a great queen," he said before leaning in to kiss her forehead.

As Aria left the study, she couldn't help but feel grateful for Dax's support. She knew she had a lot to learn and a long way to go, but with Dax by her side, she felt confident that she could rise to the occasion and be the queen her pack needed.

As the Queen she should have been shown respect. This doesn’t make sense that the lowest an Omega could get away with speaking to her so disrespectfully.
