JOHN I grip the wheels with trembling hands, glancing back and forth at the rearview mirror watching my back as I drive down the busy road. RUBY My eyes are heavy and my breathing is harsh as if air has suddenly become so heavy. My whole body has never felt so out of control like there's no life in it. Everything hurts, it's so hard to breathe. My thoughts wanders to dark memories in my mind and worries that have kept me up all night.
