The next day I was woken pretty early by Grace to get ready for our drive to the Vampire ball. I was too anxious to eat and only forced down half a piece of bread down my throat when Grace would not stop pestering me about it.

I somehow gulped the tea to calm my nerves and let Grace do my hair and choose a dress for me.

She pulled out a simple and elegant pink colored gown for the travel.

“How is this one, my lady?”

She enquired as she held the dress up for me to examine. I only waved my hand away and mumbled, “Whatever”

She braided my hair and packed a few essential belongings before reminding me a dozen times how to apply make up.

That was yet another small but important lesson Jasper had asked her to give me. There would be no maids around me to help in the Vampire castle so I would be pretty much on my own.

She had detailed and given me a make up tutorial detailing what type of make up to put on what type of occasion, what shades go best with what types of dress colors etc
