“So you want me?”

He asked and I tried to hide the rosy blush that crept up my cheeks. I lowered my head but he immediately cupped my chin and brought my face up to hold his gaze.

“Answer me, Celia”

He spoke, his voice turning huskier and I saw a muscle in his jaw twitch.

“I want to meet Ivan and you are the road to reach him so yes I do want you,” I said plastering a huge smile.

I could lie if I tried hard, partially…maybe?

“I thought you gave up on the idea after your failure…your rather abysmal failure. I think asking you to seduce me won’t work so how about flirting? Can you flirt?”

He stated in a plain voice but it felt like an evaluation nonetheless.

“I don’t give up easily”

I spoke and tried not to shiver given our nearness. His hands were resting on my bare skin and had slid down a little when I had wriggled to get out of his hold, thinking of running away.

“Sure, you can try again if you wish. Your time starts now.”
