Marly POV

Carson and I spent the next couple of hours loving and resting. After we showered together, we got dressed and went searching for the King and Queen. We found them where we had left them, in the King’s office. “I am ready,” I commented, as we were welcomed into the office.

“Marly, I want to apologize for my demands earlier. I did not take into consideration the pressure this work puts on you,” the King stated as he moved to stand in front of me. “I am learning, just as you are. We have never had someone in our family who could read the past when touching another human. It makes me wonder what other talents will start to surface, now that you are here,” he added.

hhhmmm I'm sure the brother hid the fact the queen was pregnant with twins.... who could it be? someone we know or someone new?

I'm liking this book so far. But wouldn't the Queen know she was pregnant with twins? Unless the King's brother did something there to.
