SHE CAN'T BE HIS LUNA.

Raven's POV

I walked closer into my office which was nicely filled with lavender which I suspected to be her scent and I watched as she stepped back obviously scared about my approach but I did not care.

'Mate! Mate!' I heard as my wolf call with joy looking at the girl who was blinking her eyes continuously.

Mate? How is that possible? How can a homeless-looking girl in my office be my mate?

I looked at the scrawny-looking girl in front of me and I hissed in frustration.

What arrant nonsense is this? I hissed at the realization of what I just found out.

'She is not nonsense and don't you dare berate our mate like that' Callisto, my wolf chirped in and I noticed that he was in full swing happy about what was going on but I was beyond mad.

How could it be possible? I never could imagine that a girl I bought cheaply from an arrogant Luna was going to be my mate. But what? She is a useless human with no power to herself.

That I could not stomach.

There was no way I could allow that.

"You! What are you doing here!" I roared and I watched as she fell down in fear and I got annoyed.

What! A shout from me could get her to fall down! Weak, too weak! I lamented.

"Stand up!" I roared and I watched the girl scramble away from the floor almost peeing her pants in fear and I hissed in frustration.

"Weak!" I blurted out and I finally understood why her parent decided to sell her short.

There was no way a powerful girl could be discarded like she weighed nothing and knowing that I proposed the sake just to taunt Luna and showed her how powerful he was but who knew he was getting someone completely useless?

"What's your name?" I asked taking a seat on my desk and I watched as she looked around the office cluelessly and I got offended by her actions.

Is she deaf or something? I wondered and I decided to ask again.

"I am asking for…" I was saying but she cut me off immediately.

"Giselle…my name is Giselle!" She says, in a rushed time probably afraid that I was going to get mad at her but I could not blame her for being careful…I am not a patient person.

"Did you know why you are here Giselle?" I asked and she nodded her head slowly and I scoffed wondering if she doesn't use words.

"I am going tinge straight..I bought you that makes you my property but I found out one more unfortunate thing," I say and u watched her look at me with keen attention.

"I found out that you are my mate…is that not unfortunate?" I asked and I watched her mouth open wide in shock.

"What! I am your mate! But you think it's unfortunate," she says the last part slowly but because of my enhanced hearing, I was able to hear it.

"Yes, that's why I came up with a solution..there is no way I can be stuck, even though it's destiny I am going to change it," I say.

I could never have someone as weak as that as my mate..I needed someone strong who could rule beside me as I countered the world.

"What are you going to do with me?" I heard her ask with a hopeful gaze and I scoffed wondering who she thought she was for asking me that question. 

There was no way I was going to consider her in my decision. That is not going to happen.

"What did you think should happen?" I asked with a teasing voice and a mocking smile hitched my lips as I watched the girl think.

I knew I just gave her a hopeful thought even though it was blinking. I knew she was going to dream a bit but I was ready to smash that dream of hers.

"I don't know if you are going to hate me for this but…can you let me go?" She asked with her hands joined together in a pleading manner and I was confused.

"What! You want me to let you go?" I asked and I wondered if she had lost her mind.

She was asking me to let her go when I asked her about what she thought.

If she was not greedy and asked me what she wanted…she could have asked to get my Luna.

"I mean you asked me what I think is going to happen…and I think that is the only thing.." she was saying but I cut her off angrily.

How could she think of escaping me that easily?

Does she think that I am that easy? Why does she think I got her with money just to free her like that?

"Why should I let you go? I own you! You are my mate…then why should I let you scramble around!" I yelled and I watched her flinch in fear.

"Then are you going to keep me as your Luna?" I heard her ask softly and I smiled seeing what she was doing.

Of course, she is greedy, she just wants me to think she is not…how clever.

"Luna! You as my Luna, that's a joke," I say and I saw her look shocked.

 "Why should I accept someone that I am about to reject as my Luna? You are not fit to be my Luna," I say and Callisto purred in rage but I was strong enough to control him.

"I, Alpha Raven Rock, reject you, Giselle Lynette!" I said and Callisto growled in anger but I didn't care a bit.

I have to do what I have to do but the reaction of the girl in front of me was different…she was indifferent.

So indifferent like she had been through that so many times and that got me curious.

I was curious about her.
