Chapter 3

Hundreds of kilometers away from Lilly's current location. A large pack of Lycans lived peacefully under the leadership of triplets alpha Lycans who were renowned for their strength. It was the Blue Moon pack.

The three of them ruled Blue Moon and made their territory the strongest and largest among the other Lycan or werewolf territories.

The three brothers ruled firmly and wisely. Their people admire and respect them. They are Declan, Luca, and Finn. The three leaders of the Lycans are feared by their enemies. They are very strong, intelligent, and quick-witted.

The three of them are handsome Lycans. They were triplets but not identical. Every one of them has its own charm that can make any young girls and women all over their heels when they meet the handsome alphas. Lycan can live up to 700 years. So the triplets can be said to be grown-up Lycans since when they were compared to human age, they were 300 years old right now.

Behind all the glory the triplets achieve, there is one thing that is still lacking, and this deficiency could become their weakness someday.

Until now they have not found their mate.

Soulmate. Which should now be with them. Stand by their side, Rule this pack, and live together in their house, to complete their life.

They haven't found her yet.

Alpha Declan, the firstborn, was sitting in his big chair in the office. The meeting had just finished and he was still daydreaming there, his eyes were straight into nothing.

"Finn and I will be watching over the guys training on the field. You coming?" Luca, his second brother broke the silence and already standing from his own chair.

Declan was still staring at the table surface which was full of messy papers and books. His head was full of thoughts of his mate who had not come until now.

Should he be looking around for her? That's what they did. Every five years. But he stopped until 10 years ago.

Maybe he should go around some more. But where?

Declan rubbed his face roughly.

"Hey dude. I know what you're thinking. I'm also worried about the same thing. But we can't dwell on this. She'll be here soon or later, we’ll find her. We're not that old yet." Finn, the third brother, chuckled.

Declan looked at him, Finn was smiling broadly at him.

"We'd better go around and see if there's a beauty we can get to accompany us tonight." Finn wiggled his eyebrows up and down.

Luca shook his head. But Declan didn't react anything.

Finn is indeed the most fuck boy among them. He could not see beautiful women. Almost all the single women in this pack have slept with him.

Luca, second in line, is a saint. He keeps his distance from women who are not his mates. He can keep his commitment to the woman that the Moon Goddess destined for him.

Meanwhile Declan. He wasn't a saint like Luca but he wasn't a player like Finn either. He has a biological need but he also doesn't want to play with all the women he meets.

He wanted a mate.

"Find mate, find mate! I want mate!"

Draco, his Lycan thrashing on his head, sent a flash of light into Declan's eyes.

"I know buddy, I want it too," Declan answered silently and took a deep breath.

Lately, Draco had been so restless he didn't know why. Draco always wanted to get out and run to find their mate, as if his mate was in danger.

This happened more and more often, especially when they started discussing the matter of stopping the sale of slaves, which was an illegal business of the Rouge werewolf packs.

The restless and uneasy feeling was shared among the three. Luca and Finn admitted the same thing to him.

Declan looked at his two brothers who had been waiting for him to move.

He nodded his head and stood up from his throne.

"Let's go to the training field."

The three of them got up from the spacious office room and immediately headed towards the field where the warriors were training.

The three alphas have a rule that everyone in the pack must have self-defense skills so that they are not easily attacked by enemies.

Both men and women must have basic martial arts skills. This training starts when they are seventeen years old.

Every day, there will be groups practicing and each group must alternate with other groups. Alpha Declan, Luca, and Finn will take turns coaching the group out on the field.

Today was Luca's turn. However, Declan and Finn decided to participate in monitoring the training.

Finn with a clear goal. He would come and see if a beautiful woman among them could be seduced to accompany him.

Declan tried to get rid of anxiety and stress because of the mission they were facing. Apart from that, the three of them became even tenser because of the mission this time.

They got the feeling this time would be even more dangerous. Or there is something more precarious hidden from this mission. They can feel it in their bones.

This was their third time doing something like this. They did illegal transactions with the Rouge pack.

They bought the slaves.

The three alpha of Blue Moon packs are very-very aware that they don't need any slaves.

They are the ones who uphold the right to life of fellow living beings. It doesn't matter what kind of creature, all of them must have the right to live with the same dignity. This is the principle held by the three Alphas.

They hate this business, but they are also forced to play the game with Alpha Ken, the Alpha Rouge. He is a very cunning and also a strong werewolf. Even though they were definitely stronger than that bastard of a werewolf, Declan, Luca, and Finn chose to set up a hidden plan.

If they attacked, it was likely that many innocent lives would be lost.

And they don't want that.

Not to mention these few weeks, ever since they sent some of their best warriors on this mission, the three of them had become even more agitated.

Something was bothering their Lycan.

The loud sounds of people practicing made Declan wake up and immediately pay attention to his surroundings.

"Stay alert. They are coming. She is near!" Draco growled in his mind.

Who's she? Declan's eyes flashed red as he communicated with Draco.

Unintentionally, he glanced at Luca who was across the field. He had the same expression. Likewise with Finn.

"Is it what I thought it was?" Finn's voice sounded excited in their minds.

When they saw the same reactions from their siblings, each of them realized that they would have the same person as a mate.

This is common in Lycan herds if they have one mate for more than one or two people. This usually applies to twins or triplets like them.

"Yes." Luca answered before Declan.

"And if you want to look good in front of our mate, you have to act like a loyal man. Stop looking at other women with your dirty eyes." Declan snorted annoyed looking at Finn who always smiled mischievously.

But this time he nodded and raised his hand. Of course, he wants to look good in the eyes of the woman that the Moon Goddess has destined for him. Having a mate, and living together with love and care is the dream of all creatures like them.

They will be whole and complete with their soulmate. Because of that, even for a player like Finn, he wouldn't want to disappoint his mate.

Declan walked over to Luca, he was seriously giving directions and orders to his pack members who were fighting.

"I know you're worried, but we better focus on our goals," Luca spoke without looking at him.

he nodded.

"I hope she's not one of those slaves..." Declan whispered in a deep voice.

Luca raised an eyebrow and turned to his brother who was five minutes earlier than him.

"If so, what will you do?" Luca asked in a low intimidating tone. Among the three brothers, he is the most cold and reserved, even compared to Declan.

"I will kill Alpha Ken in the most heinous way."

Luca gave him a sharp look. He took a deep breath before nodding and looking back at the field.

He had thought that Declan would reject their mate. That is the most uncommendable thing. He had no respect for such living creatures. Even with his own brother.

Meanwhile,, Luca, has important principles in his life. Mate is the person who will complete his life. He will protect, and give all the love and care to the woman that the Moon Goddess has destined for him.

"Why do I feel that Rio is close to our territory?" Asked Finn who was suddenly near them.

Luca and Dean nodded in agreement. Rio is the Beta of this pack. Of course, he is one of the best warriors of their pack. None of the Alpha were allowed to do the transaction directly. This was the rule, Alpha Ken set up. He didn’t want any Alpha or leader from other’s pack to know where his location was.

"Shouldn't he be here in a day or two?" Luca asked his two brothers.

They didn’t get to answer him yet, the three of them tensed up instantly as Rio's voice, echoed in their heads.

"Alphas... Change of plans. We are already at the border of our territory..."
