I stood outside Archer's closed door, my heart pounding in my chest with each passing second. I knew he was angry with me, furious even, for letting Jason live. But I couldn't continue avoiding him any longer. I had to face him, no matter how difficult it might be.

With a deep breath, I raised my hand and knocked on the door, the sound echoing in the empty hallway. For a moment, there was nothing but silence, and I feared he wouldn't answer. But then, faintly, I heard the sound of movement from inside the room.
