Asher's POV

What the f*ck? My head hurts! What the hell is happening to me? Did I hit my head or something? Oh, I remember!

That stupid man! He dare deceiving me and I'm so stupid for not knowing he came with a plan. He definitely having the best day of his life, and I'm gonna give him that since I was captured by him. My eyes looked around the place to recognize at least small details of this warehouse, but this place is not familiar to me.

"You're awake," that deep voice caught my attention.

"Who are you—oh, you're that man. Your gun hit me badly."

"Be grateful I didn't kill you," he answered.

"Yeah, you're right. Thank you," I muttered.

He shook his head and sit down on the chair before taking an old newspaper from the table, after that ignore me as if I don't exist.

"Can I at least get some water? I'm thirsty, you know."
