All of us women and the few men that didn’t go were so engrossed in what was happening on the tv in front of us that we never even heard them come in. It was no until Cyara let out a scream that we saw the group of a dozen standing there with their weapons drawn.
“Don’t even think about going for any of your weapons.” One of the guys tells us.
Burton steps in front of me. I roll my eyes, but I know why he does this. He is protecting me and his child. I push the button on my bracelet to sound the alarm. I never thought I would have to do this. We had a feeling they would try something like this. The guys have stepped in front of all of us trying to protect us. I heard Kaycie scream and turned towards her.
It has been three days since the women were taken and Landon and his goons got into the house. We finally found out how they got on to the land without setting off any alarms. Apparently, one of the gardeners we had working for us was one of his men. Currently, all those bastards are locked up in the warehouse. It took the women the last two days to recuperate from everything. I thought we were going to have to take Davina to the hospital. She started having contractions. Luckily Shawn was able to come over and calm her down and give her something to stop the contractions. He also said that they weren’t real contractions and explained everything to us. He says they were brought on by the stress of everything. I also had him take a look at Kaycie. We had no choice but to tell everyone that she was pregnant.&ld
We have just returned from the warehouse. We all went. Of course, they made us women stay in the room with the one-way window. All we could do was watch. Well most of us watched. About halfway through the twins had watched enough and wanted in on the action. The guys had locked the door from the inside but apparently, they had forgotten about the other entrance. The absolute look of horror when they burst into that room on the guys chained to the chairs was priceless. What was even better was the look of surprise on our guys’ faces when they burst in.“Why is there a second door to that room?” Kristian asks.“Just in case something was to happen and we needed to get out quick. It is never used and I completely forgot about it.” Kade
It has been a month since everything went down. Nero and the rest of his goons did admit to everything and more once the twins were brought under control and carried out of the room. Kade and the guys let my brothers and the twin’s uncles decide the fate of those assholes. I can say that they will never cause anyone problems again. My guys raided the houses and seized all the electronic devices and every piece of paper in the house. We have a small country-sized amount of evidence against these bastards. The two women we captured were sent back with Zane. He and his guys dealt with them. I have no idea what they did to or with them.“How is she?” I ask.“She and the baby are doing fine,” Shawn tells me.
It has been a month, but it is still weird to see Burton holding little Amarya. I have to say that Davina and he make some damn cute kids. Little Amarya is a full head of curly strawberry blonde hair and bright blue-hazel eyes. I can see both Burton and Davina in their facial features. She is a tiny thing though, but Uncle Nick said Davina was not much bigger when she was born.“Where did that light hair come from?” Abby asks.“Burton’s natural hair color is actually almost a platinum blonde color. He has just always liked to change the color so it has been a while since anyone has seen his natural color. I think that Amarya’s is a mix of his and Davina’s dark red.” Xavier states.
The house is full today, but it is only us guys here. Even all of the uncles are over. All of the women are over at grandmother’s house. The aunts threw a joint baby shower for Davina, Breayna, and Byanca. It was supposed to be a couple of weekends ago, but with everything going on they had to push it out until now. They were finally able to have this weekend. They had to have it Sunday which is normally our dinner day at grandmother's but she let it slide this time. I think she was ok with it because she got to see her great-granddaughter and she knows that two more are on the way soon.“Seriously how much more stuff do those babies need?” I ask.“That is a good question and I don’t have the answer for you,” Kade tells me.
We have just arrived at grandmother’s house for our weekly dinner. Little Amarya is two months old and getting ever cuter. Byanca and Breayna are literally due any day now. I am not sure if I would be less nervous if they just had these babies or just stayed pregnant. Every time they wince or groan Kane and I jump like it's time. Breayna threw a glass at me the other day when I did that. They are both tired of Kane and me acting so ridiculous.“How are you two holding up?” Mateo asks.“We both want this to be done. They are getting more cranky as the days go on.” I tell him.“Let them be. When you are this pregnant everything hurts and you are just done.” Ariyanna says
Well, another uneventful week has gone by. I am glad that it was uneventful after all the shit that has been going on, I welcome the boredom. Byanca, Nyalya, Blake, Cyara, and Felipe are in my SUV and we are on our way to our weekly dinner at grandmothers. Darryn, Kane, Alex, and Keaton are flying back home today. They went up to see how everything was going with Zane. I know Zane and Elijah are coming back with them. They should have landed about half an hour ago.“Fuck.” Keaton says.I look in the rearview mirror and I see Byanca wince in pain. She hunches over and I have a feeling that my little niece has decided that it is time to make her entrance into the world. I was proven right when Byanca cried out loudly in pain. It looks like we are not making i
The twins have been home for three days now. So far Nykyla and Isabella have been amazing. They hardly ever cry. I can see Kaycie getting excited about our little man. She is five months along and we just found out yesterday that it is a boy. Everyone was thrilled. I think since there have already been three little girls born that everyone was hoping for a boy. I know Xavier and Eryn have their ultrasound tomorrow to check on the babies and find out what they are having. I am hoping for three more boys. That way these little girls will have some protectors.“This sucks,” Kaycie grumbles.“I know Tesoro but at least we haven't booked too many things yet,” I tell her.She is sitting on ou
