The next morning at work, Kilian received the news from the mercenary he hired.

“Vasco is dead.” It read. Kilian smiled and continued working on his job. It was then when he received a call from Max.

“What is it?” He asked. From the other side of the line, Max sounded worried.

“The Assembly wants to hold a meeting. They must have heard about Vasco’s death. Looks like they want to figure out who killed Vasco. He’s one of the biggest supplier after all. With him gone, their business will be slowed.” He explained.

“So what? Let them hold the meeting.” Kilian responded. Maximus raised his brow. His brother sounded a little too calm for this situation.
