~Alina’s POV~

I was still in shock from every ugly revelation that came out of Rocco’s mouth.

How could he betray us like this after everything we shared? After every bond, every meal, every moment he stood inside our home like family.

All these years he watched me cry. He watched me live in misery.

A tear rolled down my cheek before I could stop it.

~Alina’s POV~I was still in shock from every ugly revelation that came out of Rocco’s mouth. How could he betray us like this after everything we shared? After every bond, every meal, every moment he stood inside our home like family. All these years he watched me cry. He watched me live in misery.A tear rolled down my cheek before I could stop it.He would comfort me and reassure me that things would be better soon, meanwhile he was the one behind it all. He was the enemy hiding in the dark, throwing arrows into my life and pretending to shield me from them. How must Val be feeling right now? Aside from me, he trusted Rocco the most with his life, with his empire, with everything. How painful must it be to discover that the man you called fratello (brother) had been feeding you poison for three years? No. This is wickedness.More tears streamed down my face, but I wiped them quickly before Nikita could see and taunt me.I will not let her have the last laugh. Never.Rocco was st

Valentino’s POVMy hand shot forward before I could stop myself. I grabbed the collar of Rocco’s shirt and fisted it tight, the fabric bunching under my fingers as I yanked him forward until our faces were inches apart.“Perché (why)?” I growled, my voice low but shaking, my knuckles white with rage.“Why would you throw away everything we had all these years?”He did not flinch. That was what broke something in me.He stood there, calm, steady, looking at me like I was nothing more than another obstacle in his way, like he had not just driven a knife straight through my back and twisted it slowly.“What could she have promised you,” I demanded, my grip tightening, “what could Bianca have offered that made you throw away loyalty, blood, trust?”Still nothing. Not a word. Not even a blink. The silence lit my fury on fire.My fist flew into his face with a brutal crack. I felt bone shift under my knuckles as the punch landed. Rocco staggered back, blood bursting from his nose and splitt

~Valentino’s POV~ Alina opened her mouth to speak, but I lifted my hand slightly, signaling her to stop. I could not afford her saying anything that might put her under stress. I could not afford anything that could harm our child right now, not ever. I stepped away from her and moved closer to Bianca, my boots sinking lightly into the cold ground as I closed the distance between us. I stared straight into her eyes. She was different now. The woman standing before me was no longer the Bianca I once knew. Her beauty was still there, sharp and dangerous, but it was twisted by pain, by hatred, by something dark that had settled deep inside her soul over time. Her eyes were hollow, burning with vengeance, like someone who had died once and come back wrong. My gaze slowly traveled down to her throat. There it was. The faint scar circling her neck. The mark of execution. The place where her life was supposed to have ended. A slow smile curved my lips. “Before we b

~Valentino’s POV~No… this cannot be real.Bianca was dead. I killed her three years ago.I gave the order myself. I watched from a distance as my men carried out her execution. I saw her body wrapped, sealed, and driven away to be disposed of.I still remembered the smell of blood in the air that night like it was just yesterday. So how was she standing here now, breathing, laughing, looking at me like death had never touched her?My eyes moved slowly over the Bloodhounds surrounding her, their stance tight, disciplined, and dangerous. The reality hit me hard.Turns out she was the mastermind behind them. And yes, the timing was perfect. The Bloodhounds appeared only months after her execution. At the time, I thought it was a coincidence. I thought it was some new syndicate trying to rise in Italy.Turns out I was wrong. It was her, Bianca. She survived, disappeared, built an army in the shadows, and came back for revenge. No wonder my business had been bleeding these past two years.

~Alina’s POV~The words hung in the cold night air, heavy and sharp, slicing through the tension like a blade.Valentino froze.“Che… cosa?” he whispered, his voice barely audible at first, then rising, trembling with a mix of disbelief and panic.“What… what did you just say?”I felt frozen as Valentino suddenly stopped dragging me. My hands trembled slightly, my breath catching in the icy air.He stared down at me in confusion.“Is that true?” he asked, trembling.I didn’t answer.Instead, I turned to Nana, my eyes wide with disappointment. My fingers clenched the fabric of my coat, knuckles whitening.“Why would you say that? You told me to keep it a secret. I’ve been careful… I have stayed hidden just like you instructed, but at the end of it all, you ruined all my efforts.”“I’m sorry, child. But I can’t just watch and let him kill my family. Forgive me.”Val studied me silently, his jaw tight, his hands twitching like he wanted to do more than just hold me.His nostrils flared s

~Alina’s POV~Tears streamed down my face as my chest tightened painfully.“Please, Val,” I begged, my voice breaking. “Just leave. I can’t stay in that castle anymore. I finally have peace here.”His eyes darkened. “You’re pushing me away again.”“Don’t you want me to be happy?” I asked, my voice barely holding together.“Of course I do.”“Then go,” I whispered. “Please.”“I will not go,” Valentino said, his voice low and firm. “I’m taking you away from here.”“I said I’m not going,” I cried, shaking my head wildly.“Leave me alone. Please, leave me alone. I’m not going.”His jaw tightened, his eyes turning dark and cold.“Fine. If you won’t come with ease,” he said slowly, “then I’ll make you leave by force.”My heart skipped in terror. “What are you saying?”He didn’t answer me. He turned slightly and spoke to his men.“Boys, take him.”Before I could even move, two wolf guards lunged forward and grabbed Julius. He cried out in shock as they dragged him roughly from his spot, his f
