7 Indigo

I didn't enroll back into collage to finish my last year of economic development but I'm okay with that it just wasn't right for me at this point in time but I plan on going back someday maybe, Sean has tried to convince me to at least take online classes saying that I was so close to graduating and I should finish while I can but I've lost the passion I once had for my field of study.     

"Hey bestie were you at" comes Sean's voice from the front door. The day after I got here Sean and I spent the whole day getting to know each other and it turned out we had a lot in common, more then I thought we ever would. Sean was in and out of the foster care system like I was only he didn't have it as bad as me when he was first placed in the system at the age of nine.       

The families he lived with started to bully and belittle him once he got to a certain age and he was more open about his sexuality and being openly gay, at one point he was even kicked out of one of his foster homes for it. So once he aged out he packed up his stuff and moved here to Texas.

"I'm in here babe" I call out. "Hey bitch soo I was thinking since it's your birthday tomorrow we should go to this new club and have a little fun. What do you say"

"Umm I don't know babe I mean I've never been to a club sooo" I say with a shrug looking at him through the mirror I'm sitting in front of getting ready for work.

"Come on please just one night of fun you deserve it after all you've been through because of that asshole" He's my best friend of course

I told him and when I say I told him I mean I told him everything, every moment I lived in the hell I did, I shared with him every nightmarish detail over a bottle of vodka and a tub of mint chip ice cream.

"Aggh fine" I groan dropping my shoulders knowing I'm most likely going to regret this.

"Yaaaayyy girl we need to go shopping you need to look hot and get laid"his face lights up and I see the wheels turning in his head with the ideas of what he's going to dress me up in.

"Oh my god I'm already regretting this" I whine with a groan.

"We'll go tomorrow morning so we have time to get ready" Sean says laying on his side watching me apply my eyeliner "I mean so I have time to get you ready" Sean tilts his head watching me carfuly, making me a little nervous.

"What" I ask lowering my eyeliner pencil from my eye. "Nothing girl damn, anyway I'll see you tomorrow morning, I left your coffee on the kitchen counter have a good day dear" he says blowing me a kiss while walking out of the room leaving me to my thoughts.

It would be nice to finaly let loose and have some fun after all I have been working so hard ans it would be another step in gettin back to the girl I was before him.

I've been at work for three hours when the front door opens and in walks a group of guys who take a seat at one of the booths in my section.

"Hi welcome in can I start y'all off with something to drink or do you already know what you want"  I ask the group as I take out my notepad and pen.

"Damn sweetheart are you on the menu" a guy with blonde hair and blue eyes with a lip ring asks licking his lips.

"No I'm not are you going to order or should I just go get the manager" I say trying to control my anxiety.
