Chapter 4

Dave entered the nightclub, surrounded by his bodyguards. His men escorted him to the first floor of the night club which was booked by him.

Chloe saw him going toward his seat, he was seated on the balcony area from where he can easily see other. His men were guarding the area around and a few club strippers accompanying him there. She already knew that some of them are on the ground floor disguised as commoners.

She was observing the first floor from down, especially the men guarding Dave closely.

"It's not good to eye down another man when you are already with someone", he said gritting his teeth in vexation. From his tone, one could easily say how much he was irritated by the fact that the woman on his lap is looking out for another man.

His voice made her realize that she still was sitting on someone's lap. She rotated her face toward him and his face was too close to her, for once she got flustered by the proximity.

"I will make sure that you will not do that again, you will have eyes only for me", the man whispered seductively in her ear, sliding his hand inside her skirt, massaging her thighs.

She jerked his hand away.

She tried to stand up from his lap but couldn't as he wasn't losing his grip on her.

She crushed his foot by pressing her heels on his shoes, and he jumped with pain and left her.

"I already made things clear, I do not have anything to do with you. Provoke me one more time and you will not be able to touch anyone", she said pointing towards his pants, shooting glares at him.

"I love your feisty nature", he said standing up from his seat.

"I have something to do for now but remember, I have my eyes on you", he said leaving from there.

He left Chloe standing there alone.

"Hey! He left. Now get back on your mission.", Aiden's voice made her look in his direction.

She went towards the bar area where Aiden was serving drinks.

"I will go first and check how many men are up there guarding him", after saying this he went up there and gave his place to one of his colleagues.

"Why are you coming here, no one is allowed.", the guard said to him.

"I am here to serve drinks", he was working as a bartender there so it will not be suspicious for him to go there to serve him.

"No one is allowed whether you work here or not until we are here this area is off limits", the guards said to him folding his hands on his chest, standing like a mountain.

Although, Aiden is a well-trained spy and agent, someone who knows martial arts and can kill tens of people like the one standing in front of him but yet he is a man with lean and strong muscles not like the muscle pig standing guard there.

"What are you I am the one assigned to this floor's bars for VIPs", he said demanding him to get in.

"If we need anything, we will call you. We don't need you for now.", the guard said blatantly.

Aiden frowned at him for that.

"If you don't go now, we will call the manager and bouncers of this club to help you move your ass."

Aiden couldn't say anything at that as that will make them suspicious of him.

He returned to the place where he was serving, Chloe was still there with a drink in her hands.

"They did not allow me to go up there and serve him up there, now you have to do it all yourself. Remember, you have to find a way to meet him again, do whatever.", Aiden said to her as if he was talking to any other person

She nodded her head to him and went towards the stairs to go to the first floor.

She climbed the stairs.

She saw the men guarding the corridor, they stood there in pairs at some distance, a pair of men standing across each other. There were two such pairs of men, a total of four, a few insides, and she saw five men on the balcony with Dave. There are more men on the ground floor too, so she can't just barge in there.

"Mam, this is the private area you can't go there.", one of the men said blocking her to go in any further.

"I know your boss, he is expecting me there.", she knew that Dave was here for someone so she used this information to bait his men.

The two guards talked with each other about something, and one of them eyed her from top to bottom.

"Sorry mam, even if you are saying the truth we can't let you in", the guards said, not letting her in.

She knew forcing herself in, claiming that she was called here will be of no use. She will be dragged out as they found the truth. She has to say something which will sound more reasonable and to convenience them.

She suddenly got an idea.

"Can you lend me your ear please?", she said to one of the men.

The men came closer to her she whispered something in her ear.

"Please let me ask my superior first.", after saying this the man rushed in to ask his superior.

"Mam, you can go in. This way please.", the man ushered her to the balcony, to the Dave Castello.

It will be the first time, Chloe is going to face his enemy for the time. The enemy whose doom will bring her fortune. Her body was completely tense, the lie she used here to bring herself to him can become the reason for him to kill her.

She entered the place where he was sitting and saw him snuggling his face in some women's chest, trailing kisses on her collarbone.

One of his men who bring her here said something to him, which was inaudible to her because of the loud music.

She stood there beside him waiting for him to look at her.
