Chapter 3

Today as soon as I heard the alarm beep I immediately woke up not wanting to get on Mr Melendez'z bad side, I chuckled to myself that man has no good side.

I quickly showered wore a black blouse and a pencil skirt, tied my hair into a bun put on light makeup I really don't like makeup.

After that I went to the one thing I can't live without and that would be my coffee I hurried to the kitchen made my coffee, looking at the clock I quickly took my purse then went to the bus station took my two busses and my two minute walk.

As the building came into view I paused oh bacon I forgot his coffee I tried to remember where he said I should buy it but he never really specified great now I'm going to get yelled at ugh could this day get any worse.

So I walked into the building took the elevator up reached the top level so I got out and went to his office only to be stopped by barbie over at the reception.

'Excuse me where do you think you are going'  she says glaring at me. I mean I don't know if it's me or does this girl not know how to dress appropriately she might as well come to work naked if she's going to wear clothes like that geez.

'To Mr Melendez's office' 

'well do you have an appointment or something' 

'or something' l muttered. 

'what' she says slightly annoyed. 

'listen who ever the hell you are' she says looking at me up and down with disgust. 

'I don't know who you think you are but let me te-' She was interrupted by a murderous voice. 

'That would be my assistant Ms Strangers' 

What the heck kind of name was that I thought to myself. 

'oh M-Mr Melendez I-I didn't know' not bothering to answer her he stalked of to his office. 

'Are you following Ms Senchez' His voice interrupted my thoughts so I followed him. 

When we reached his office he opened the door and got in and got to his sit and started working as if I was not there at all urgh what is wrong with this guy. 

'U... Um where will I be working' I say looking down. 

'Turn around Ms Senchez' and I did as he said. 

Wow I don't know how I never noticed this but his office is really huge like it is way bigger than my apartment and he must really love black cause everything is black.

As I was looking around my eyes landed on a desk and a chair in the middle of the office.

'That is where you will be working' 

'Now I think yesterday I gave you a description of your job and it required you to deliver my coffee to me and it's already 9 FUCKING AM' 

he let's out a shout on the last words that made me jump a little oh I am so dead. 

'I-I know b-but you didn't tell me where to buy your coffee Sir' I mutter. 

'Are you shitting me Ms Senchez you have been here since 8 fucking am and you had a whole hour to figure your shit out' he says getting angrier by the second. 

'Ms Menchez I really don't like incompetent people working for me' I stand rooted on my spot not knowing what to do I just kept quiet. 

'WILL YOU GO GET MY GOT DAMNED COFFEE!' he yelled causing me to look up to him even a person from a mile away could see the fear in my eyes. 

'where d-do I buy it' 

Sighing he tells me that it's just opposite his building. 

I immediately went to the shop and luckily the girl who served me was friendly and sweet she actually made the coffee fast saying she knows what that jerk was like. 

She then showed me the bill I thought I was delirious but this got damned coffee was frickin 64 dollars I mean what did they put in it not knowing what to do I decided to pay luckily I had the 64 dollars.

I rushed back to the office as I passed a group of girls but I recognized one of them barbie was there. 

They snickered when I passed them then I heard one saying '' he must have felt sorry for her if he hired her''  chuckling another saying ''duh I mean look at her'' while barbie was laughing so I did what I did best I ignored them it's nothing I haven't heard before. 

' Here is your coffee Sir'

He ignored me and took it he drank it and continued his work ignoring me again really what is wrong with this guy urghh. 

'do you need anything else Sir' finally noticing my presence. He muttered something like oh right. I mean the man actually forgot I was here.

'here is the paper work I need you to do and it better be done by the end of the day' he says looking bored. 

I look at the paper work then back at him then to the papers again is this guy crazy how am I going to finish all this frickin work today I mean whatt!!. 

'Is there any reason why you are standing there and not getting to work Ms Senchez' 

'no no sir' 

'Then why are you not getting to work then' 

Urghh I took the gazillion papers and started to work on it. 

By 12 I went to his fancy restaurant and got this expensive lunch luckily this time I brought the company card then I gave it to him since I used up all my money I continued to do my work even though I could really use a taco right now and right on queue my stomach cried for food. 

Not noticing that Mr Melendez was looking at me i just continued my work. 

'Did you get anything to eat Ms Senchez' I look up to him only to find him looking intensely at me and he kind of looked angry huh what did I do to piss him of this time. 

'Ms Senchez I asked you a question' 

'oh no I'm not hungry I ate at home its okay'

'and what is it that you ate' geez stop with the questions. 

'cereal' 

telling a white lie I am so hungry. 

Without a word of warning he comes up to me and put half of this sandwich on my table and says. 

'eat' 

'no I alre-'

'you are clearly hungry Ms Senchez and don't mistake this for any act of kindness I just need you functioning best so you can finish of my paper work nothing else' 

He says before I can respond he turns back and goes back to his desk so I did what I was asked I ate the sandwich and can I just say that was the best sandwich I have ever had no wonder it's so frickin expensive.
