DAMIAN

I walked into the hall and Dominic stood over a man at the far end. He was tied to an electric seat, his body battered but not to my satisfaction. I wouldn't kill him yet, a slow death would be best for a bastard like him.

He froze the moment he saw me and Dominic turned sharply.

“Boss.” he bowed and shifted to greet Matteo. I walked towards the bastard but a sound from outside made me halt, and I moved before I could register where it was coming from.

I stepped out and suddenly stopp

DAMIAN The housekeeper led us into a room and immediately the door opened, my eyes slightly widened. I turned to Seraphina and sure enough, she was looking at me with shock. “In master's words,” the housekeeper suddenly spoke. “The couple deserves the best. I hope you both enjoy the room,” he said with a smile and walked out and then, I turned to the room again. Every single corner in the room was adorned with red ribbons and the bed had balloons on it. On the wall, a message was printed.“Lose yourselves,” Seraphina muttered in horror at the printed words and turned to me and even though I had no idea that the bastard had ordered this, I was enjoying the look on her face.“I can't stay here,” she finally said and I frowned.“Why?” I asked and she swallowed, I walked closer then. “Why can't you stay here, Seraphina?” “I-i don't know,” she stuttered and I scoffed. For someone who almost made me murder a flight attendant with the stunt she'd pulled earlier, this attitude of hers amu

SERA“Seraphina!” Christy called out from outside and I slowly opened my eyes, wondering if it was a dream until I heard it again. “Seraphina! Girl, are you sleeping?”I sighed and stood up then. “Coming,” I mumbled and walked towards the door. I slowly opened the door and there stood Christy with a smile that I didn't know how much I'd missed until I saw it on her face.“Okay,” I said and shifted aside for her to walk in. “What's going on?” I asked and she shrugged.“Let's just say, we are going for a vacation,” she said and I frowned in confusion.“Vacation?”“Mmhmm,” she nodded and sat on the bed. “We're going to Florida.”I looked at her for a second and when the mischievous smile didn't appear, I gasped.“You're serious?” I asked and she nodded.“Like hell.” “Like a friendship vacation?” I asked and a little frown appeared.“About that,” she drawled and I raised my eyebrow. “It's four people that are going,” she said and I frowned.“You're confusing me, Christina,” I said and sh

DAMIAN Seraphina slowly sat on the floor with Daniel's picture in her hand and I frowned a little. I had expected her to leave when I gave her the clue of his death day, just like every other person does. I didn't expect her to knock on my door after the other day and I also didn't expect myself to feel at ease just by seeing her. “Aren't you sitting?” She asked softly and it took just one stare from her before I slowly sat down and for seconds, we simply sat together and stared at Daniel.“Christy is hurt too,” she suddenly said and touched the frame. “Her mood’s been off and I noticed, I think this confirms it.” “He was her best friend,” I suddenly said and she turned to me, a little surprised, I was too but I continued. “She didn't speak to me for two years after he died, after I killed him.” She looked at me for a second and then– “It wasn't your fault, Damian,” she said and I scoffed.“You don't know that,” I said and she shook her head. “If it was, Christy wouldn't have for

SERA“What?” I heard Kai ask the doctor while my mind kept floating. “Here's the result,” the doctor replied and handed the file to Kai who read in silence for a few seconds.“Can I see?” I said and Kai handed it over. I slowly brought it out, like that would suddenly make it a prank, but it didn't. Our DNA actually matched. “How sure are you that the result is correct?” I asked and the doctor stared at me, like I had insulted him.“We carried out the test twice.”“Two times doesn't make it correct!”“Sera,” Christy whispered and held my hand but I shook it off. “Do the test again,” I said and handed the file back to him and he took it slowly.“Sera,” Christy said and held my hand again and this time, I let her. “Does this mean–” I stopped and looked at Kai. “Yes ma'am,” the doctor said and I turned to him. “You and Mr. Kai are related by blood and might be siblings.”I swallowed and looked at Kai whose eyes were on me. My whole life, I had always wanted a sibling. Not Isabella, s

SERA“No,” I suddenly said, surprising myself and the hot man who stood in front of me now, asking me to come to his room after kissing me hours ago.“What?” he said and leaned closer and I closed my eyes, unsure of what I was expecting. “Open your eyes, Seraphina,” he said flatly and I opened them and looked down then. “I can't stay with you,” I finally said and shifted back. “Look at me,” he said and I obeyed. “Why?” “Because you don't like me,” I said and his eyes slightly widened. That might be one of the reasons but the first was because I didn't trust myself in the same room with this man that I had kissed twice and still want to kiss.“Who told you that?” He suddenly said and I shrugged.“Do you?” I whispered and for a second, we just stared at each other and then he scoffed.“Forget I ever asked you to stay in my room, Seraphina,” he suddenly said coldly. “It was a slip of the tongue, a mistake that shouldn't have happened,” he said sternly and I swallowed. My chest tighten

DAMIAN Matteo suddenly cleared his throat and Seraphina took those soft lips of hers away from mine and for a second, I felt empty.“Sorry-” she suddenly whispered, embarrassed but I cut her off.“Don't,” I said and she blinked. “Don't apologise,” I explained and her eyes widened for a second before she slowly nodded. I looked at those lips for one more second before turning to the bastard who just disrupted the moment, if I could, I would have ripped off that throat of his.“Sorry to cut off the little reunion,” he teased and I stared at him hard. “What do we do with him?” He finally asked and I looked at Marcus then. The last time, I had released him just because my bride said so but now, there wasn't a way out for him.“Take him in,” I said, still looking at him. “I handle him myself,” I said but Sera suddenly moved so I turned to her. “What?” I asked flatly and she swallowed.“Nothing,” she whispered and I frowned.“There is obviously something, Seraphina,” I said and she looked
