One Hell Of A Fight

Mabel's POV,

I was shocked at how events later turned out, the meeting was ruined. Wow! That was one hell of a fight and I couldn't help but be amazed by it, it seemed like the enemies had been preparing for Grey.

Then it struck me, the previous day I had overhead Grey talking over the phone with someone about an enemy they had captured, so this was it.

The car soon stopped and the guards hurriedly came out, a group of nurse and a doctor were waiting for us. They quickly rushed Lord Fredrick into the hospital.

Few minutes later,

"What's the condition he is in, doctor?" I asked immediately the doctor that had taken Lord Federick into a ward came out.

"He is in a critical condition ma'am, although the bullet missed his heart. But he needs to undergo surgery" he replied and walked away when I didn't say anything. What could I say? It's not like I even know the man, my thoughts wandered off to Grey and I suddenly started feeling uncomfortable. Nothing must happen to Grey or else my miss
