Chapter 54

Alessandro's POV

She tries to get away from me while I'm holding her, but I tighten my grip on her.

"You think that what you did will be so easy to get away with?" I let out a humorless chuckle.

I grab her hand and lead her with me to the bathroom.

"What's going on?" She asks when we get inside and I lock the door behind us.

"I told you I needed to go use the bathroom." As I pull her away from the door, I tell her.

"You couldn't have done it without me being in here with you?" she sighs and leans against the wall.

"Why? So you can start running away from me sooner? I don't believe that." I tell her before I go to the bathroom and she looks up at the ceiling.

Out of the corner of my eye, I can see her look at me and slowly push herself away from the wall.

"Don't even think about it," I tell her as I turn my head toward her.

She runs to the door, opens it, and runs out of the bathroom without saying a word.
