Chapter 144

Fedele’s POV

I looked up at my surroundings. I decided to take the tunnel straight in front of me. It seemed as if I was in a catacomb. The dark rich stone and concrete was thick and settled as if it had been carved thousands of years ago. It was dark and the more I journeyed in the more the air seemed thin.

I continued on which seemed like forever until I came to a door and I opened it only to find a brick wall behind it. I hit it with my hands and the force from the hit had me shaking the pain away.

"Ouch, what the hell?" I said hitting on all sides. I could hear his laughter in the background so I ran back the way I came. I finally came out and started on another tunnel. The Dane thing happened except this one became smaller at the end. I was literally hunched back when I opened the door to another wall. I ran back to the opening and there were two more tunnels.
