Chapter 2: You are fired

CHAPTER TWO

Isabella’s POV

"What?" I exclaimed shocked, I’m in trouble if they get angry at me for being late to welcome them.

I rushed to the VIP section and stopped at the door to compose myself for a while.

I breathed in and out before knocking, I entered after a guard opened the door for me.

"This people must be damned important" I thought

I got to where their table was and bowed.

"Welcome to five star restaurant sirs, what can we offer you please?" I asked politely

The next thing I heard was a heavy laughter

I frowned.

"Hey pretty lady" I heard a voice then a hand pulled me taking me off guard.

I pulled away and fell down on the floor.

"Gosh" My cheeks flushed in embarrassment

I stood up and dust my skirt before looking up to see the person.

"I'm sorry sir but I won't like any form of molestat..."

"Are you trying to say he was molesting you?" A very cold but calm voice interrupted me.

My body shake in fear after hearing his voice and turned to the direction still in shock, my eyes met his and I flinched.

"How can his eyes be scary and at the same time charming" I thought.

"How dare you look him in the eye" The man of the other time thundered

"I'm sorry..." I stuttered and brought my eyes down

"A really nice customer to start the day" I roll my eyes

"Call me your manager." The second man said

"What?" I froze

"Sir, please do not call him, I'll..."

My word was cut shot when I saw myself being flipped on the table.

"No one looks directly into my eyes without consequences." the man said icily.

I shook in fear,my eyes was beginning to water

Who's he and why will I be the one to serve him

He let go of me after finishing talking.

"Call me your manager,I dont like repeating myself" He said calmly before going to sit down

My whole body shakes as I picked my phone and called my manager

My tears had already started flowing out

I know better than anyone what this means but this is really unfair

The manager arrived few minutes later and he glared at me before facing them

He bow respectfully

"Why are you not ordering sir." He asked.

"You can ask your staff for that" The first man said

I was shocked when he said that

"Isabel,why are you not attending to them?" The manager asked calmly.

"Huh?"

"They haven't ordered yet sir" I said after regaining myself.

"We did order but she refused to serve." The first man smirked.

The second man wasn't saying anything and I was praying he'll say something,im sure he's going to help if he say something or that was what I thought

"I want her fired" The first man finally talked

My whole world crushed down immediately

"Wait maybe I'm dreaming" I thought withelding my tears

"Firstly, she was late before she got here"

"Secondly she had a bad way of welcoming customers."

"Thirdly,she refused to serve us what we ordered" The first man accused me of what I never did

"Sir, she's one of the best here in this restaurant,can you please reconsider." The manager pleaded.

Not like he didn’t have an idea this people was like this before replacing Diana with me.

"I wonder what will happen if I sue this restaurant for poor customer service and bad food" the second man said standing up.

"Don't worry sir,I'll fire her once you’ve left sir, you won’t see her here anymore." The manager said even though I was here

"I want it here and right now" the second man said

I quickly hold his leg when he was going out

"Please sir,this is the only survival of I and my family" I pleaded with tears rolling down my face

"Sir,she's right i think maybe you should reconsider" The manager tried pleading for me but no,the man wasn't listening

"I wonder what will happen if I decide to sue this restaurant"

"Bad welcoming service?"

"Bad waiters?"

"I'm sorry but i have to do this,you are fired Isabella Maze" The manager cuts in with a deep sigh

My tears flow freely now and i felt hurt

"Thank you sir, thank you" I bowed and ran out in tears

I met Diana on the way and she was smiling,she was dressed in her bitchy clothes as usual

"What happened to the great Isabella" She mocked

I glared at her and walkes into the dressing room still in tears,I changed to my normal clothes and packed my hair up

I sniff in my tears cleaning it and took a cab back home.

I met Mandy inside watching a movie,she was holding a popcorn in her hands

"Mandy..." My weak voice called

"Huh,Ella,you are back" She asked surprised

"Yea,just too tired" I fake a smile

I'm not use to keeping things from her but I'll tell her this later

"Oh,go freshen up and come downstairs soon" she said

That's what I like about her,she doesn't push things forward

"Okay best" I smile before going into the bedroom

My house is a single house but looks like a flat

After freshening up,I jumped on my bed and resort to call Kelvin,my boyfriend

After the third ring,he picked up.

"Sweetheart..." His cheerful voice came in

"Yup" I smile truthfully

As if I know he's my medicine

"Are you not at the restaurant?" He asked maybe surprised

"No I'm not,I was fired" I broke the news to him

"What?" He screamed

"Hey,easy there" I chuckled sadly

"Are you kidding me?" He said

"No,I wasn't even at fault but they blamed me" I frowned

"Sorry babe,what will you do now?" He said

"What else" I shrugs

"I'll just look for another job comes Monday,you know tomorrow is weekend" I said

"Yes I remember" He said and I was surprised

Does he remember my birthday?

Maybe he's trying to surprise me

I smiled

"Okay babe,I'll talk to you later" I said and drop the call

I know he may be working right now and I don't want to implicate him

I stood up and smiled

I started looking for beautiful clothes that'll amaze him

"Losing my job was painful yea but I just have to start all over again" I thought
