Chapter 23: She Believes Us

“I don’t think I’ve laughed so much in a while now.” Aunt Celine commented as she got up. “But it’s getting late now so we should all head to bed.” She sighed. 

“You must be tired from all the travelling too. I have already prepared your usual bedroom.” I said as I got up with her. 

“Thank you, Mia.” She hugged me.

“No problem, Aunt Celine.” I smiled at her as we pulled away. 

“Now, I know that after the whole day that you didn’t get to be alone, the two of you might be excited.” She started, giving us a look. “But please remember that I’ll be just down the hall.” She told us. 

Oh god no!
