CHAPTER 34

It was time for Alex and Sofia to depart and they were still not talking. Arthoro did not know how they would pull this off if they were still not talking to each other. He was standing outside to see them off because it felt like it would be the last time, he saw them.

“Why are you seeing as off Arthoro?” Sofia asked with a frown on her face.

“Is that bad? It can’t be as bad as you two not getting along” Arthoro replied with a bright smile.

“Stop that.” Sofia frowned more while Alex just whined at the driver’s seat.

“What are you talking about?” Arthoro said, playing dumb

“Why are you smiling like that?” Sofia asked.

“Time is very precious, so can we be on the road already? We don’t want someone spotting you here.” Alex finally spoke up. Arthoro kept his mouth shut and his lips formed a straight line.

“Until we meet again.” Sofia muttered as she entered the car and Alex drove away. Alex’s car windows were tinted so nobody could see them as they drove through the streets.

“How long?”
