Chapter 2: Officially married

Elsie POV 

I paced back and forth in the room nervously while waiting for him. I bit my finger as the nervousness made me lost control. What will be his reaction if I tell him the bad news? 

“You smell so nice,” I stood still as I felt his arms around my waist. He pulled me from behind till my body pressed onto him. I felt every curve of his body while closing my eyes inhaling his scent at the same time. 

He started to show me his love with his butterflies’ kisses from my shoulder till my face. I didn’t deny that I enjoyed the way he poured out his feeling, but my mind suddenly reminded me that I need to stop him before it goes too far. 

“Dexter, stop,” I called out remembering the thing that I need to tell him. 

“Why should I?” He refused to stop his action. 

“Woman’s day.” My answer immediately made him stop and he groaned with frustration. He released his arms from my body. 

“Are you kidding me?” 

“Unfortunately, no.” 

“Urghhhhh!” He groaned once again, showing the disappointment on his face that was crystal clear.  

“Not our night, I guess.” I shrugged my shoulder, not happy with the situation either but I secretly enjoyed his reaction. 

“I’m going to have a cold shower.” He walked away, headed to the bathroom. At that time, I couldn’t hold myself anymore and laughed at him. 

“Don’t laugh, love. It’s not funny.” He turned with his unhappy face which made me pressed my lips to stop my laughter. 

“So, Dexter not always gets what he wants,” I said to myself but was caught by him. 

“I heard that!” I giggled at his voice.

“Where have you been, love?” His voice penetrated my ears the moment I entered our bedroom. 

“Wow, what a nice view.” I closed the door behind me and walked towards the bed. He was doing push-ups in his sweatpants and sleepless shirt. His muscle stretched every time he pushed his body. 

“Are you enjoying this?” 

“Which one are you referring to?” I put on my serious face while trying hard not to laugh at the situation. I laid on my tummy while observing his every movement that was sexy in my eyes. 

He suddenly stopped and stood away from the floor. The sweats on his body made him look sexier. He walked to me and bend over to peck my lips before sitting beside me making the bed dipped with his weight. “Are you making fun of me?” He asked while wiping his sweated face with the towel. 

“No, husband, I really enjoy the moment.” I turned to him and placed my head on his lap, his face above me. 

“Tell me where you want to go for our honeymoon. Do you have any places in your mind?” 

“Not for now but I will think about that. Andrea will go with us, right?” 

“Can we ask the maid to take care of her while we are away for the honeymoon?” 

“Of course, no, you can’t dump her like that, Dexter.” I was shocked by his suggestion. 

He suddenly burst out with laughter, “I’m kidding, love. Calm down,” he crossed the towel over his shoulder and caressed my face. 

“I’m glad I found you.” The way he stared at me melted me right away. 

“Why? What had I done?” 

“That is the weird part. You didn’t do anything, but everyone seems to fall in love with you.” 

“Everyone? Who? Could you perhaps say out the name?” I teased him, touching his hand that caressed my face. 

“You are being naughty tonight,” he pinched my face which made me giggled. 

“Go take shower. You smell so bad.” 

“Say the one who sniffs on me all the time.” His smirk made me rolled my eyes. “Let me take a quick shower.” He moved from the bed and headed to the bathroom. 

“Quick shower or cold shower for a second round?” 

“Elsie Anderson!” 

“That sounds nice!” I exclaimed. 

“Behave yourself, love. Stop provoking me.” He warned with his back facing me. 

“Eww, stingy husband.” The towel that he threw landed right on my face, the one that he used to wipe his sweat earlier. 

Soon, I heard the water running in the bathroom. I lie on the bed waiting for him for a quick shower as he claimed. I get used to cuddling with him before sleep takes over me. That was our routine since we were together.
