Scarlett's POV The hallway was quiet as we walked until Ryan’s voice suddenly cut through it like a knife."The truth will not be buried forever; she will find out sooner or later!"I froze in my tracks, the words hitting me straight in the chest. Scarlett's POV "Rita? That’s your name, right?" My voice cut through the room, sharp and shaking. "I asked you a damn question. What did you mean by what you just said?"She didn’t answer. • The Mafia's Claim   Chapter 103

Scarlett's POV For a long moment, Liam just stared at me. The silence stretched, thick and heavy, making my skin prickle. I was ready for his usual outburst of anger and the cruel words he was so good at hiding under a calm smile. But to my surprise… he smiled. It was a slow, knowing smile that made every hair on my arms stand up."You can go," he said easily. "But on one condition."I blinked in surprise. “You’re… agreeing?”“That’s what I said, isn’t it?”“Okay… So what’s the condition?” I asked cautiously, feeling a sense of unease. He leaned closer to the camera, his eyes dark with something dangerous. “It's simple, really. Just moan for me.”My throat immediately felt dry. "What?”He chuckled softly, the sound sliding over my skin like smoke. "You heard me, love. Moan for me. Show me what it would sound like if I were fucking you right now.”My face burned so hot it felt like I was standing under the sun. "Liam, you can't be serious…""I’m dead serious," he interrupted, his voic
