Will it just end like this?

When Valen returned from dinner, she did not immediately close his eyes. Instead, Valen sat with an irritated face imagining Asher's every annoying behavior and word.

"Even after I got hurt, the person who helped me was a jerk like Asher. Seeing how he looks and talks makes me want to stuff him with cayenne pepper. Aaargh ... I wonder why I've been able to like a guy like Luze for a year and have a traitor like Carissa. But come to think of it, Asher is a handsome guy. I have nothing to lose by being saved by him." Valen babbled until the end sentence.

Valen, who was sitting, slammed her body on the mattress with a flushed face. "Never mind, I'd better get some sleep. Tomorrow I have to prepare myself to go back to Addison's house. That old fart definitely won't let me off so easily."

The next day at the villa, Valen woke up from her sleep. She got up from the bed and walked out of the room. In front of the door of his room, there was already a servant ready to take orders.

Valen approached the maid who was at the front door. "Excuse me, where's your master?"

Getting a call from Valen, the maid turned and bowed her head. "Miss, Master left early this morning. Master told us to fulfill Miss' needs before he returns." The servant said informingly.

"Well, since your master is not home. I'd better go back now. Convey my gratitude to your master; I don't have a cell phone or anything. If you want to find me, tell your master to come to the Addison residence. I'm always there."

"Miss, Master won't allow you to leave before you have breakfast. And this is a gift from Master for you, Miss," The servant handed Valen an envelope containing a debit card and a brand-new cell phone. She clenched her fists angrily.

'Asher! You bastard, you're planning to tie me up with your money. By giving me the money, you've managed to subdue me!' Valen thought.

"Sorry, tell your master I can't accept his excessive kindness. It's enough that he's willing to save me. I'm leaving!"

"But... but Miss!"

The servant's words fell on deaf ears. She descended the stairs and exited the Villa in a hurry. She opened the door loudly, but once the door was opened, all she saw was a wilderness that knew no end.

"Damn, here we go again! How is this any different from me getting out of Carissa's captivity? Now how am I going to get out of this place?"

Seeing that the scenery stretched out was just a wilderness made Valen rethink leaving. She turned around, and Aunt An was already in front of her.

"Miss seems to have misunderstood. Master only gave you this cell phone and some money for your living expenses after leaving this villa. Master knows Miss is having a hard time; think of it as a loan to Mr. Asher," Aunt An explained.

'Oh my God... everyone in this world must be a fool not to realize the intention behind your generous gesture, Asher! But fine, I'll go along with your game. How long will that kind-hearted Asher be nice to me,'

Valen took his cell phone and money with a smile. "Alright. Since your master has been so kind, I won't waste it. I'll have breakfast. After that, can Aunt An take me back?"

"Of course, since it is an order from Lord Asher."

Valen finally went back inside and headed to the dining room for breakfast. After finishing breakfast, Valen was driven to the Addison residence.

Addison Residence,

The Addison family was one of the most prominent families in the area. In addition to owning the Addison Group Company, rumors circulated that Addison received a large flow of funds from a mysterious person for a secret deal that had not yet been revealed.

The driver dropped Valen off in front of Addison's residence and quickly left. Valen was reluctant to return to the house that was like a tiger's den, but to get the truth about her true self, Valen had to be patient until she found clues about who she was.

"I'm home. Did anyone miss me?" Valen asked lazily after opening the door.

"Oh, sister, you know back home too. I thought you went homeless and wouldn't come back!" Grace Cecilia Addison said arrogantly.

Grace was Addison's daughter who had an arrogant nature and loved to look down on others regardless of their position.

"What's your business? I only came back because there are still odd things in this house that I need to investigate. What does a spoiled woman like you know?"

"Damn it, listen to the way she talks, Mom. She needs to be taught a lesson!" Grace told her mother.

"Valen! Where have you been all this time, missing for two whole months? Do you know, because, of you, we lost a 5 billion contract!" Shouted Mrs. Jane Addison, a middle-aged woman who had just come out to see Valen.

"Could you lower your voice, ma'am? My hearing is still good unless you're deaf from having to shout incoherently like this! I'm tired. If Mrs. Jane wants to preach and wait for the congregation to fill up, you may do so!"

Mrs. Jane, who felt humiliated, began to growl. She approached Valen and was about to slap her, but Valen had received enough torture from the Addison Family. She blocked Mrs. Jane's hand with a sharp glare.

"Listen, Mrs. Jane! I thank this family for sheltering me. It's been two years since I was stranded in this country, and I lost the memory of who I am. Even though you tortured me even more cruelly than a murderer, I remained silent. But human patience has its limits. Even tame animals will bite if you keep playing with them!" Valen said firmly, slamming Mrs. Jane's hand into a grimace of pain.

Without realizing it, everyone in the house was watching after hearing an argument, including the servant who constantly tortured Valen.

"Damn woman, how dare you yell at me. Servant! Whip this damn woman until she realizes what she's done!" Mrs. Jane ordered.

The maid who used to torture Valen came with the whip. Without guilt and seemingly enjoying herself, the maid knocked Valen until her head hit the floor. Valen's head was bleeding, but the maid continued to whip Valen repeatedly.

"Aarrgh... How rude of you. Remember, one day. I will repay you!"

Valen was already losing his strength to get up. Slowly she began to lose consciousness. 'I've endured these two years to be able to know my true identity, but in reality, it's not that easy. They even keep a tight lid on everything they know. Ugh... what is that image?' Valen thought.

Suddenly Valen saw an image of herself in a sprawling palace wearing fashionable clothes and embracing a woman. At the same time, she also saw herself holding a firearm in the middle of a battle.

'Is it me? I'm the one hugging someone in a strange place. Can I close my eyes? I'm tired,' Valen thought.

The roar of people laughing around her faintly began to fade, and Valen's consciousness declined until a familiar male voice came.

"What are you doing to her!" A man's heavy voice suddenly interrupted.

Valen vaguely saw someone coming towards her.  'Someone is coming. Did he see everything that happened?'
