Frozen on her feet, Georgia stared at Primo with her wide eyes blinking twice. The last thing she knew was she was getting imprisoned, which was the reason she was wailing! But now… she’s in an open place! Damn, she’s even in the same roof with this man!
“Have you considered the kiss already? Why are you looking at me like you've just been mesmerized?” how he had the guts to utter those words needs to be studied, seriously. Primo’s grin never left, and his confidence is too overwhelming with his arm on the threshold.
As if thunder occurred behind her, Georgia flinched out of irritation. She was supposed to fear this guy, after all, he's the boss of–probably a gangster family. But no! The moment he triggered her yesterday, other than fear, something adds up to it–and it’s how she started to get irritated with his tease!
But then again, she knew she is not yet bold enough to refute those teases with the real emotion she’s feeling. Hence, as much as she could, she tried to calm down and answered politely as she lifted her left hand to show him.
“Again, I’m about to get married, Boss.” Georgia spoke as she slightly bended her head forward.
“Hmm?” hearing that sound from him, Georgia was opted to raise her head back to him only to find him looking at her hand with puzzle on the face.
“You see this ring–” Georgia was about to say more, but she ended up in utter disbelief when she found her fingers empty, quickly falling her words beneath. She was shocked and it took her seconds to recover from it. “W-Where is it? Where's my ring?” Georgia panicked as she lifted her other hand in hopes to find it.
Unfortunately, just like the left hand, it’s also empty. There's no ring to be found.
Her heart started to beat fast as panic, surprise, and confusion collided into her at once. She even tried to check the pockets on her labcoat, but nothing! There was nothing!
“No… my ring…!” while she was panicking, Primo on the other hand just enjoyed the scene before his eyes. Georgia went back in the room, looking for the ring on the bed and every corner in this room. Sweats started bulge in her temple, and she couldn't express the overwhelming feelings building up in her other than fidgeting and walking back and forth.
“I remember it… so well, I have it with me… always!” Georgia murmured as she felt jittery as a second pass by and still haven't found it. How could she lost it?! That ring marked her future! That ring was the hard-earned money of Lawrence! She just couldn’t accept she lost it—
“Oh, I threw it out.” Casually, acting so innocent, as if what he has done didn't cost someone's life, Primo spoke all of a sudden almost nonchalantly. Hearing those four mere words, Georgia halted. Heavy weight started to step on her small body.
“What?” her chilling voice replaced the jitter as slowly, she turned around him. Her siren eyes looked empty, but at the same time, it carries the willingness to do worse at this moment.
“I threw it out by the sea.” Primo answered as he casted a quick glance in the window where the landscape of the sea is found. Primo had his hands on the pocket of his pants while his eyes looked lazily at her, although contrary to the smile etched on his lips.
The smile that Georgia wanted to rip off of his face.
“You bastard… why…” with the life in her voice diminishing, Georgia spoke as her palm slowly form a ball of knuckles. Gradually, she began to narrow the gap distance between them. However, the bastard’s reply got her feet nailed on the floor.
“Because I know so well that you would do the same soon.” He replied without an ounce of regret traced in his face, neither in his voice. He spoke and act as if he did the most respectable thing ever.
Georgia couldn't help but to let the cold snicker escape from her lips. “You’re one delusional man, Primo Bonsignore. Not a chance you can change my heart. Not even a millimeter of my skin you can ever touch me again.”
“Fuck that, either way, I’m still getting married to the man I love the most.” Georgia remarked. It felt so refreshing to finally express–even to cuss like that! Hah! This Boss Primo? He deserve that cuss. He did her wrong and the worst things.
But then again, whatever she said didn't go through that man. Instead of feeling wrong, he was trying to push her to the limits even more. With the grin on his face, he stared right through her hazel-brown eyes and said,
“That’s it, Mi amore, show me how much of a bitch you are–I would like you even more.” Hearing that tightened her grips on her palm, digging deep her nails on her skin. She could feel the holes in her head steaming because of how infuriating this jackass is. “And you getting married?”
“We’ll see about that.” Primo added. And for a moment there, Georgia felt something off by the way he uttered those words. Deep within his voice, there seemed to be a menacing premonition in it.
“Don't you dare lay a hand on him. I swear to god, I wouldn't let you touch him–even just a strand of his hair.” Georgia quickly said as she looked at him with her piercing gazes. But then again, he just smirked at her.
“Or else what?” Primo responded, challenging her, as he slowly took a step toward her direction. “Or else you'll do what, Mi amore?” he asked further. As the closer he gets, the suffocating the surroundings for Georgia gets, too. Georgia followed his eyes, resulting in her head lifting because of the difference of their height.
And shamelessly, Primo stopped with only a few inches distance between. Then, he bended his upper body forward slightly, having their gazes on eye level. With his close presence, Georgia's respiratory system malfunctioned for a moment–she couldn't breathe!
“What can a gorgeous doctor do to me, hmm?” whispering, he asked, as those hunter eyes gazed at hers. However, something not far below seemed to call for his attention. Primo’s eyes eventually gave in and looked at those lips that looked so inviting.
“Tempt me, I guess.” As those four words left his mouth, in just a second, those sultry pink lips were then captured by his.
Standing frozen, Georgia was shocked with her widened eyes. She couldn’t move. Her body became stiff and weakened. What the hell?! That happened so quickly!
The surrounding that seemed to spun in motion watched it unfold, while her consciousness was trying to recover from shock. But it was needless to do so, when she suddenly felt a stung in her lips as if urging her to respond to the kiss. With the remaining strength left on her body, Georgia gathered all of her power to indeed respond…
With a crunchy slap. The kiss broke as the two chased for their breath, until a second after, she heard a snicker.
“I was right. That was sweet, indeed.” Primo commented with a proud face as his right cheek reddened at the impact.
The police dazed at him at the remarks that sounded hilarious. The police had to fake a laugh, thinking that Primo was joking. That laugh, however, only lasted a few seconds when Primo didn’t laugh with him. Staring at him with his surprised face, the police ended up gaping his mouth open, expecting him to elaborate his remarks.“Wait… did you actually mean it, Sir?” The police stuttered in Primo’s presence who’s inches taller than him. He stared at Prio cluelessly, feeling as though his job was mocked and degraded by this man. Although he felt somehow insulted, he still couldn’t seem to bring himself to open his mouth and talk back to him. This man just has a different aura that he cannot figure out, but could completely feel it.The police tried to look at Primo in the eyes, only to be the first one to break off the gaze because of something unidentifiable emitting from his eyes–something that’s not ordinary. Though he cannot name it, the police just ended up listening to his instin
The next day, they were shocked with another news again–well, particularly, Primo who couldn’t believe what happened. Just like last night, he received a call from Samuel about the incident that happened in his company. Today, another incident happened. It was the news that they woke up to early in the morning that Primo had to leave earlier than he used to. “What is it again?” Primo asked Samuel with his stern face meeting the gazes of the shocked and scared employees. Instead of answering him, Samuel just directly led him to the scene, where a lot of morning employees gathering around instantly greeted him to which he didn’t give a damn to pay his attention.Noticing his presence, the gathering employees then made their way to let him see. Contrary to last night where he met the deceased at the hospital, this time, the corpse was still found lying on the cold floor with the eyes wide open and soaked in his own pool of blood. Primo’s eyes narrowed at the sight. He stared at the bloo
As Manuel was about to stop by the company, Primo suddenly commanded him to go straight to the hospital where the person who died at his company was instantly brought to—which is the same as to where Lily is now. They were then greeted with his employees who were primary witnesses of his death. Georgia and Primo instantly separated ways when Georgia heard someone sobbing behind the curtain of one of the beds. Slowly, she walked to that and eventually found her guts to sway it open, just to see Lily holding on to her unconscious uncle."Lily..." Georgia gasped upon seeing the situation as her eyes slightly widened at the unconscious old man. Hearing her voice, Lily bent upward to meet her worried face, while Georgia saw hers coated with tears. She immediately opened her arm wide open to embrace her.She had never seen this vulnerable side of this woman. She knew her as lively and easy-going. But to see her this so emotional, it feels like Georgia has found her younger sibling that nev
For her long dead father, Georgia didn’t expect any of these. Her late father who was already resting in paradise… Her father who has long been dead. How can such two connections collide in the present? How can her late father’s name be brought up in this present time? Georgia’s mind was already a wreck. Though, there was no definite proof to conclude the involvement of her father. The fact that the name of the supposedly resting soul is now brought up from the grave just bothers her.In the end, Georgia breathed in sharply, and affirmed herself. “I hope it’s nothing serious.” She whispered through her teeth as her eyes gazed at the landscape of the night view through the glass wall.“Right. Another thing, Mi Amore,” Primo’s voice budged her from staring blankly at the breathtaking view. She turned her head to his direction, only to see him walking toward her with another paper in his hand. “This is what I told you about.” Primo then handed her the papers that contained the activities
Herald stared at Emilio with his deep eyes. By the looks of this man, it seemed as though he was anticipating his presence. It looked like he knew he was coming here. Herald looked at him sitting on his lovely chair with his legs crossed. And it felt weird for some reason, because another person snapped his mind who also did the same thing–except that person had the smile to welcome him, not this mischievous smile.“How bold of you to think that way.” Sarcastically, Herald responded. Well, Emilio indeed had been trying to invite him back to the company. Even though Emilio made it sound kind and considerate, Herald doesn’t just fall for it. He already had the taste of what it was like working here–he doesn’t want to experience the same shit again. “I just want to visit an old acquaintance, what do you think?” Herald and then, lifting one end of his lips. Then, his eyes averted to the interior of his office that changed a lot since he was here. It just looked like the old building of F
“Herald Juancho, he was once one of the Freegal ten years ago. He was the manager of the financial team. According to what we found out, he was close to the unnamed CEO back then.” Primo stated as his eyes occasionally glanced at the warm paper that just released out of the printer. The moment Georgia asked him about the old man, he immediately clicked on Manuel to find out as much information about him as possible. He didn’t know about these things when he first met him back then. Primo only knew the surface level such as to when he first met him such as being associated with Emilio.“There wasn’t much information about him in the past, but there’s a current one that would surely surprise you–or not. Herald knows Emilio Granger. He knows him more than anyone else.” He added. Primo didn’t exactly know how deeply the old man knew the Freegal’s chairman, but his encounter with him in the past had already said so.After all, it was Herald who signalled Freegal–despite him already quittin
