Being recognized by another person for something expected wasn’t something that Primo was expecting. Perhaps he could understand if the recognition stems from the field of work he does. But for something unexpected like being the ‘hero’ to borrow the director’s word of the damsel in distress the night at the last party… he never thought of such a possibility ever in his life.

Because it would look like he was also being recognized for the other work he does, which was a private one. It didn’t occur in his mind as doing the action work has been frequent in the mafia family that he runs.

But there’s more. This recognition also came with an indirect alliance with Director Kauffman, which was considered as the badge of honor.
