Dreaded

"Organize a meeting now and I want every damn person to be present. Do that in ten minutes,,anyone that doesn't attend should consider his/herself fired", Antonio said to Miss Gina."Yes Mr Rossi", Gina said and walked out of his office

She sent the message through the company's communication system and everyone received it at once.

They immediately stopped what they were doing and went to the conference room and took their seats.

Gina saw that all working staff were in attendance. She went to Antonio's office to call him

"Everyone is already in the conference room Sir", Gina said

Antonio hummed shortly with a curt nod. He walked out of his office with Gina following him at the back.

Immediately he stepped into the conference room, the people murmuring stopped and the place became as silent as a graveyard.

Antonio looked around and made sure everyone was present before he took his seat.

"I think y'all know why I organized an emergency meeting", Antonio said calmly.

"No Mr Rossi", Mr Castillo said politely and they all nodded in agreement with his response.

"Since you don't know, let me make you know. How many of you watched the launching of the K-3 by the K.C corporation", Antonio asked.

That was when they all realized why they were summoned.

"I asked a question or have you all suddenly gone deaf or dumb", Antonio asked

"We all did sir", one of them replied which got some people angry

"Speak for yourself", another one countered

"Enough", Antonio yelled and the room became quiet once again.

"Whether you watched it or not, it's none of my business. But just to inform you,,,KC corporation stole the technology we created but they also rebranded it and launched it as theirs", Antonio said with intense fury.

Everyone was already sweating though the place was well ventilated.

Fear was visibly written on their faces but that didn't stop Antonio from talking.

"Now the main question is how did they get their hands on our technology because this is not a mere coincidence. Someone seated here, looking to me is a spy", Antonio said.

They started murmuring to one another again except for one man that looked down.

Antonio noticed this and smirked. "He must be the one", he thought but decided not to push it further until he hears from Luca.

"Quiet", Antonio shouted and the murmuring stopped.

"If you know you're the spy, I'll advice you to just surrender now and submit your resignation letter because if I find you,,,you will regret being on the surface of the earth. This meeting is over", Antonio said and walked briskly out of the conference room with his shoe making a soft noise.

Gina also followed him, carrying his suitcase.

"Come pick me up", Antonio picked up his phone and informed Grassi.

I no time, Grassi arrived in front of the company with a black Lamborghini Aventador.

"Sir, Mr Grassi Is here", Gina informed.

Antonio stood up and collected his suitcase from Gina

"Have a nice day Sir", Gina smiled

"Hmm", Antonio hummed and went to join Grassi in the car.

"Welcome back Sir", Grassi said and looked at Antonio from the rear view mirror.

Antonio smiled shortly and put on his seatbelt.

Grassi stepped on the gas and drove off.

During the ride, Antonio was staring outside the window,,,lost in thoughts.

His mind drifted back to the happy moments he had especially when he was with someone he truly loved for the first time.

She made him see the other side of life,,,,she changed him from being the cold person he was to a lively person.

She was the only one that gave him joy.

But all that ended five years ago when she broke up with him for no reason.

He remembered how he begged her to stay with him but she was hell-bent on leaving him.

Antonio spent years thinking of what he did wrong that made her leave him but the more he thought of it,,,,the more confused he became.

Ever since then, he became cold once again and his hatred for women started growing by the day all because of a woman,,,,one woman.

"Mr Rossi, we're here", Grassi said which snapped Antonio out of his thoughts.

Antonio carried his suitcase and walked to his suite, ignoring the greetings people were giving him.

He typed in the passcode to his suite and entered it.

He threw his suitcase on the bed, removed his blazers, unbuttoned half of his shirt and loosened his tie.

After that, he went to his private bar and picked a bottle of whiskey alongside a glass cup.

He sat on a chair,,,,he poured small whiskey into the cup and started drinking.

"Why can't I just stop thinking about you huh", he said with an hoarse voice.

"Why did you leave me,,,,I hate u,, Aurora Zanin", Antonio said her name with so much hate.

He tried so hard to fight back his tears when he remembered how he suffered when she she left him.

Luca made his way to Antonio's suite when he found out he's around.

Luca typed in the passcode since he knows it,,,he walked in and saw Antonio drinking again,,,,he sighed.

There's only one thing that makes Antonio drink so much.

"Is it because of her again", Luca asked

"Why are you here", Antonio asked instead.

"I found out who's behind the theft of our technology that was launched by KC corporation", Luca said and took a seat near Antonio.

He dropped a flash drive on the table.

Antonio looked at him. "What's that", he asked

"That's a USB drive that contains all the informations about what happened", Luca said.

Antonio furrowed his brows and looked at Luca again before inserting the flash into the laptop.

Luca took over and opened the file for Antonio.

He showed Antonio the CCTV footage when Lucius threatened one of the workers in the company and also when a man sneaked to the storage room where the tech was kept and stole it.

"How did you find these because when we checked the CCTV footage,,,we didn't see any of these", Antonio said

"Just take it as,,I'm good at what I do", Luca winked.

Antonio scoffed earning a chuckle from Luca.

Luca started scrolling through the pictures and videos until Antonio held his hand to stop him.

"Go back to the last picture", Antonio said

Luca did that without saying anything.

"Do they know each other", Antonio asked referring to Lucius and Romero.

"Yes but it seems Lucius is only but a pawn in Romero's game. I have a feeling Romero will remove Lucius from the way when he's done with him", Luca said

"Of course. I've always known Romero to be a good game planner and I'm sure he's the backbone behind our stolen technology", Antonio said

"Correct. He's thinking we won't find out,,,how foolish", Luca said.

That moment, Antonio received a text message from an unknown number.

'I hope you like my gift', Antonio read out.

Luca also read the text and laughed shortly.

They immediately figured out it was Romero that sent the message.

"Such a d!ckhead", Antonio cursed.

Sky Clan**

Romero smirked when he sent the text message to Antonio.

"I'm sure he'll be thinking about who sent the message", he said.

Unknown to him that Antonio had already figured out.

"Boss,,,, it's time", Draco said.

"I'm on my way" Romero said.

He put out the light of his cigarette and kept it on a tray.

"Baby, come with me", Romero said to his girlfriend,,,Bella.

Bella forced a smile and went with him to the torture room.

They met a man tied to a chair with no shirt on,,bringing his freshly bruised body to sight.

Before Romero came in, they have used long while to lash the man until they were satisfied.

Looking to the other side, a woman and two girls could be seen sitting together and chained.

They were in tears and it seems they've been crying for a long time because their eyes were dark red and puffy.

The man that was tied to a chair raised his head when he heard footsteps approaching him.

"Wh,,,,Who are you", he managed to ask

"You don't need to know who I am because you won't even remember who I am but you might know him", Romero said when Lucius walked in

The man turned and immediately recognized Lucius.

"You", the man said with widened eyes.

"You're such a smart man, too bad we won't be seeing more of your smartness", Lucius smirked.

"What are you talking....",

And before he could finish his sentence, Lucius pulled the trigger and the bullet went straight to his forehead.

His head immediately dropped lifelessly.

His wife and children gasped at the horrible scene they just witnessed,,,,they started begging for mercy again.

"Please don't kill us, I beg you. Spare I and my children,,,I promise we'll run far away and never show our faces again", the woman cried but it fell on deaf ears.

"Bella baby, why don't you do the honours of taking care of the woman", Romero said with a smirk playing on his lips.

Bella was surprised at the same time....scared. She hesitated.

"What are you waiting for babe", Romero asked and Bella laughed awkwardly.

"I'm gonna do it now", Bella said,,, slowly collecting the gun.

She aimed it at the woman and wanted to pull the trigger but she stopped.

Her chest tightened because of the pleas that were coming from the woman and her children.

"Sorry but I can't do this", Bella said and threw the gun away.

She walked away and Romero frowned.

"Finish up and dispose the waste properly", Romero instructed Draco and went after Bella.

"What's the meaning of what you just did", Romero asked

"I just could shoot her like that,,, I have a heart unlike you", Bella said.

Romero clenched his fists but slowly released it.

"I'll let that slide because I love you but I don't promise to be nice next time", Romero warned causing Bella to scoff loudly.

"Let what slide??,,,,,I was only stating the fact. There was no reason to kill the woman,,,,she did nothing to you", Bella fired

"What I do with people is actually none of your business,,,,,I must not have a reason to kill before I kill. The earlier you get that,,,the easier for you", Romero said

"You're a monster", Bells blurted out what was in her heart

"I didn't hear you clearly", Romero said in a calm way with an angry face.

"You heard me right,,, you're a monster", Bella said firmly

"How dare you", Romero yelled and landed a resounding slap on her left cheek

Bella face turned to the other side and her hair fell over her face.

She started crying and faced him.

"You slapped me doesn't change the fact that you're nothing but a monster. He's even better than you", Bella spat

"Who are you talking about", Romero asked

"You don't need to know", Bella said with courage.

"So you're seeing another man aside from me huh. Who the hell is he", Romero asked pulling her hair hardly.

"It's Antonio,,,,I'm not seeing him but I wish I was,,,, he's far better than you in every aspect", Bella said and moved away from him.

"Sh!t,,,, fvck you and Antonio. Give me your phone", Romero said angrily

"For what", Bella asked making Romero more furious.

Romero ignored her and snatched her phone

"From today,,, you're not leaving the clan without my permission", Romero said

"Are you putting me under house arrest", Bella asked

"Call it whatever but you're not leaving the fvcking clan without permission", Romero said and with that he barged out of the room angrily.

He went to his bar to calm him self down with some Brandy.

"I fvcking hate you and your family,, Antonio", Romero said

"Why do you keep on taking what belongs to me. First it was my father and now my girlfriend. I can't watch you take everything from me,,,, I'll make sure to end your pathetic life and that of your father's", Romero said with so much contempt

He finished the wine in his cup and hit it hard on the table and left for a mission.

Dangerous M clan**

"You haven't said anything about the prisoner girl we brought in four days ago", Luca reminded.

"Oh,,,bring her to me", Antonio said.

Luca left at once to the prison room.

He untied Ginevra from the chair,,,,removed her blindfold and immediately he did that,,,she used her hand to block her eyes because she hasn't seen light for some days.

Her eyes took a while before adjusting to the environment. It was then that she noticed Luca was standing next to her.

"Wh,,,,Who are you", Ginevra asked

"Follow me", Luca ignored her question and led her to Antonio.

"Boss,,, she's here", Luca announced.

Antonio looked up and his eyes bulged out.

His heart started beating faster than before and he had a surprised look in his face.

"Aurora", he muttered the name he dreaded the most.
