“She refuses to come down.” The maid reported and I let out a snort.

“Then, let her remain inside.” My reply came in an icy tone. Yet, my appetite waned, and after poking with the fork, I dropped it and left the dining room with a dark expression.

As usual, I poured myself a drink, and sat on the leather chair, sipping slowly with my mind riddled with different thoughts.

However, the one that prevailed was the image of the teary-eyed Elena when I spoke to her earlier, and the manner at which she stubbornly pressed her lips together, refusing to say a word to me.

Actually, when she spoke rudely to Clara, I had no intention of making her apologize, but she got angry and decided that chatting with James was the next best option.

To make it worse, she even pushed herself into his embrace. How could I take that lightly?

She is mine, body and soul.

I knew my possessiveness was not something she liked, but the fact that she is mine remained the same.
