Elena stilled in surprise, “You…you are not coming?” She asked softly, and Dominic gave a head shake before gesturing for her to go.

“Go, they've been waiting for a while.”

Elena stared at him for a while and had an inkling that he had something in plan. But, after a while, she stopped hesitating.

She was desperate to leave, and having her Father pay off his debts was the best choice. Although Elena still remembered how the family had treated her in the past, she felt that she could forget everything since her Father was finally willing to help her.

Slowly, Elena made her way into the small condo up ahead, and she could feel Dominic's gaze heated on herself. She pushed the door open and walked in to glance around the sitting room.

She didn't do that for long as her gaze finally fell on two figures, one female and the other male - My Father, Mark, and his wife, Morgana.
