CHAPTER 14

THALIA ISABELLE

I was busy browsing the files they sent to me when someone knock on my door. I look at the wall clock hanging on the wall and it’s already five-thirty in the afternoon. I blink multiple times and exit the file.

“Come in,” I said and the door opens the person I did not expect to see. So when I saw him I stood up quickly and walk near him. “Blue!” I said delightedly and hug him tight, he did the same.

Blue is one of my best friends here and he is one of Giovanni’s employees who accompanied me the whole duration of staying in this country two years ago. A tear escape from my eyes and he wiped it for me.

“Don’t cry, bitch,” he said and I laugh at what he called me. Blue is part of the LGBTQ community and I am glad that I met someone like him. “I am guilty that I left you here without saying a pro
