Chapter Eighty Seven

“Here, drink this.” Sister Aria said as she offered Agatha a bottled mango juice, making the girl smile at her. “Thank you. Where is Sister Nina?”

“She is getting your reports checked.” Sister Aria replied, taking a seat beside the girl in the waiting room while Agatha nodded. This made Sister Aria turn towards her, tilting her head to get a better look. “You did a great job Agatha. I’m so proud of you.”

A tight lipped smile appears in Agatha’s lips as she touches her belly, listening to the soft heartbeat of her daughter. Sucking in a deep breath, she said. “Do you think I can do it? be a mother?”

Sister Aria smiled at her sincerely, rubbing the girls back. “Aww my dear, of course you can. What makes you doubt so?”

“I have never even spared a glance towards a baby, let alone take care of one.” Agatha replied earnestly before turning to stare at her palms as she said softly. “I kill people Sister Aria. I don’t protect.”
