Chapter Fifty Two

Soralina steps out of the mansion in a sour mood. But sour as it may be, she does a pretty good job in masking it through a straight face, watching from the top of the stairs as the guests leave in their cars, the vehicles pulling out of the driveway one by one like train.

"When will I see you again?" Louise asks, but not to the one you are thinking, no. Not to Soralina, but to Agatha, the one with whom he had been engaged in a conversation throughout dinner.

Agatha smiles, turning to her sister and letting her take the show from here. She has had her fill. "I don't know. But I'm sure Soralina here would love to pick a date."

At the mention of her name, Soralina glances at Agatha with masked hatred, but when she spies Louise watching her, she puts on her fake sweet smile, turning to him as she intertwines her hands around his elbow. "You pick a date Louise! When do you wanna meet?"

Agatha looks away with a smirk, knowing that this isn't what Louise was aiming for as he stutters uncomf
