Chapter Fifty Three

A knock sounds on her door, pulling Agatha from her trance. When she turns around, Romeo’s head peeps inside, looking at her. “Did you cause trouble again?”

“I might have. Why?” Agatha replies, staring at Romeo as the man sighs looking at his feet before turning back to her. “That’s why. Boss whats you in his room. You better get going.”

In his room?

“In his room?” Agatha asks I out loud, finding it weird that he called her not in the office but in his room, that is just so…weird. “Yeah, now go.”

Is he gonna kill me in his room?”

“I-I’ll be there.” Agatha replies wearily, making Romeo close the door as she pulls her thoughts together.

I said I would find a way to escape death today, but my mind is blank because I was busy thinking about the note.

Should I just…go with it?

“He won’t kill me for just calling him old, right?” Agatha asks herself, answering it at the same time. “No. he needs me for now. He won’t kill me just for something like that. Let’s keep that in mind.”
