Raphael walked into Damian’s study, finding his brother seated behind his desk with a cup of coffee. Damian looked up, surprised to see Raphael approaching with a serious expression. He leaned back in his chair, setting the cup down.

“Well, this is unexpected,” Damian said, gesturing for Raphael to sit. “What brings you here? You look like you have something on your mind.”

Raphael didn’t sit. Instead, he stood near the desk, his hands in his pockets. “I need to talk to you about something important,” he said, his tone firm.

Damian raised an eyebrow. “Go on. I’m listening.”

Raphael hesitated for a moment before speaking. “I want you to free Luna,” he said directly, his eyes locked on Damian’s.

Damian tilted his head, a slow smile spreading across his face. “Free Luna?” he repeated, leaning forward slightly. “That’s a bold request. Why the sudden interest, Raphael?”

“It’s not sudden,” Raphael said, his voice steady. “I’ve been watching her, and… she deserves better. She’s been through e

Aurora finished the last bite of her meal, setting the tray aside with a small sigh of relief. Damian, who had been watching her intently, stood and walked over, his gaze never leaving her.“Good,” he said, his voice calm but firm. “You needed that.”Aurora looked up at him, her expression soft. “Thank you for staying,” she said quietly. “It feels... different having you here.”He leaned down, scooping her up in his arms before she could say another word. Aurora gasped, clutching his shirt as her eyes widened. “Damian!”“You’re staying in my room from now on,” he said simply, his tone leaving no room for argument.“What?” Aurora blinked, confused. “But why? I’m fine here!”“No, you’re not,” Damian replied as he carried her toward the door. “I need to keep a closer eye on you. And I don’t want you walking around unnecessarily. You need rest.”Aurora sighed, knowing there was no point in arguing with him. She rested her head against his chest as he carried her up the stairs, his footste

Aurora stirred awake, the room dimly lit by the soft glow of the moon outside her window. She blinked a few times, adjusting to the darkness. The tray of food Luna had brought earlier sat untouched on the side table, a stark reminder of how lost she had been in her thoughts. She stretched, her hand instinctively going to her growing belly. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she tried to rise, but before she could swing her legs over the edge of the bed, the door creaked open.Damian stood in the doorway, his tall frame shadowed against the faint hallway light. His piercing gaze locked on her, and without a word, he walked into the room, shutting the door softly behind him.“Damian?” Aurora asked, her voice soft with confusion. “What’s wrong?”He didn’t answer immediately. Instead, he crossed the room, stopping in front of her. His dark eyes roamed over her face, his expression unreadable. Finally, he spoke, his voice low and thick with emotion. “I couldn’t stay away.”Aurora tilted her h

  • The Mafia's mistress (His temptation)    Aurora s reflection

Aurora lay back on the soft bed, her body still weak but her mind restless. The room was quiet, but her thoughts were loud. She stared at the ceiling, her hand resting gently on her growing belly. She let out a soft sigh, her fingers absentmindedly rubbing circles over her stomach.“Mom…” she whispered into the silence, her voice trembling slightly. “Where are you now? Are you even alive?”Her chest tightened as the memories of her mother filled her mind. She remembered her as a strong woman, always trying to shield her from the harshness of life. But she also remembered the coldness, the pain of being abandoned and sold.“Do you regret it, Mom?” Aurora asked softly, her voice barely above a whisper. “Do you ever think about me? Or am I just a mistake you’d rather forget?”Tears pricked the corners of her eyes, but she blinked them away. She wasn’t sure if she wanted answers to those questions. What if her mother had moved on, living a new life, forgetting all about her? That thought

Luna stood quietly during the playful banter between Raphael and Damian, her soft smile lingering as she watched the joy radiating in the room. As the conversation shifted and laughter faded, she stepped closer to Aurora, her heart swelling with gratitude that her friend was safe and recovering.Without a word, Luna leaned down and hugged Aurora gently, pressing her ear to Aurora’s tummy as if searching for a heartbeat of comfort. Aurora chuckled softly, running her fingers through Luna’s hair.“What are you doing, Luna?” Aurora asked, amused.Luna giggled and looked up. “Just making sure you’re really here,” she said. “I missed you so much, Aurora.”Aurora smiled warmly. “I missed you too. You’ve been taking care of everything, haven’t you?”Luna nodded eagerly. “Of course. Madam Catherine and I made sure the house was ready for you.” She paused and whispered, “And Damian has been different… softer, maybe?”Aurora raised a brow, glancing at Damian, who was watching them with a small,

Aurora was still laughing softly from Raphael's teasing when the door creaked open. Damian stepped into the room, holding a large bouquet of colorful flowers. His usual stoic expression had softened just slightly, though his awkwardness was clear as day.Raphael turned to look at his brother, and his lips immediately curved into a sly grin. “Well, well,” Raphael said, folding his arms. “Look who’s gone all romantic. What’s this, Damian? Flowers? For Aurora? Are you sure you’re not sick?”Damian’s jaw tightened, but a faint pink tinged his cheeks. “Shut up, Raphael,” he muttered, walking toward the bed. He placed the bouquet on the small table next to Aurora, avoiding everyone’s gaze.Aurora blinked, staring at the flowers. “Uh... thank you,” she said, her voice hesitant. “But... why?”Damian scratched the back of his neck, looking like a schoolboy caught passing notes. “I just thought... it’d brighten up the room,” he mumbled.Raphael let out a loud laugh, slapping his knee. “Brighten

Aurora sat propped up on her bed, the soft pillows behind her providing comfort. The room was peaceful, sunlight streaming in through the curtains. She was still processing everything—the house, Damian’s words, Luna’s excitement. Her heart felt heavy yet warm at the same time. She wasn’t alone anymore, and that meant everything.A soft knock on the door broke her thoughts. Before she could respond, the door opened, and Luna stepped in carrying a tray of food. A warm smile spread across Luna’s face as she walked over to the small table near the bed.“Good morning, Aurora,” Luna said softly. “I thought you might be hungry, so I brought you some breakfast.”Aurora’s heart lifted seeing Luna’s kind face. But then, her gaze shifted behind Luna, and her smile quickly turned into a frown.Raphael stepped into the room, his presence commanding yet calm. He stood tall, his hands resting casually at his sides. “Good morning, Aurora,” he said, his voice steady.Aurora’s eyes narrowed, and her to
