Chapter 33 - Don
It has been a couple days since Mason has found out who his mate is, but instead of joy, he has been filled with anger.
He has called Finn and has asked him how to get more access within the security system at King Enterprises. Luckily, Finn is more than willing to help Mason. Even though Mason is able to find what he needs, regarding his mate, it didn’t really help him emotionally.
Mason sits on his bed with his back resting against the headboard as he stares at his laptop on his lap. He can’t seem to take his eyes off of the mark on his mate’s beautiful neck. That witch has marked his mate.
He doesn’t know what has happened or why she would do that, but Mason is not sure he really wants to know. However, this explains why Mason’s wolf is drawn to his mate’s scent, but at the same time the pull isn’t really there. His mate is already marked by someone else.

Well, I have talked with the doctor, and he isn’t much help. He has reviewed my test results again and says that there isn’t anything off in any of them. His best suggestion is to go back to my room and rest.
